If we are talking shooters, the reigning champ will always be R-Type.
Yes to all of the above!! LifeForce and Gradius III are some of my favorite games to play when I'm in a retro mood. And of course Contra. R-Type is also lots of fun, but I haven't played one in the series in a long time.

OK, back on track. Wanna talk about RID15? Cause I do! So last week I was in a hotel for work and binged watched the last 15 episodes in one night. Yup!
I really enjoyed the show. Yeah, it was a little corny, but in a good way. I wish I would've been able to get up at 5:30am on Saturday and ate kids cereal in my jammies while watching it. That's what I liked about it. They have a clean wholesome, let's learn a lesson while having fun thing going. Almost every episode should have ended in "and knowing is half the battle". And what's the other half you ask? Autobots and Decepticons! All the characters grew up a little and the lesson were usually paralleled by the bots and the humans. Speaking of the humans, I liked Russell and Denny. Especially crazy ass Denny.
Now let's talk about them 'Cons. I'm normally not on board for beast formers, but beast-bots that turn into cars and stuff. HECK YEAH, gimme some! Even though most of them were just a quick one shot, they seemed to be fun characters. The writers really seemed to be having fun. The real shame is that only one of them got a warrior/deluxe figure. I can understand the ones that didn't get much screen time, but I wish we could at least get Steeljaw's crew in plastic (warrior) form. And that brings me to some pics.
Forgive the hotel lighting. Which really isn't much worse than what I'm currently using, just more yellow.
So how cool is this guy? He seems more complex than the other figures in this line. His arms immediately reminded me of PRID FE Starscream, he has a very clever leg transformation and this mad articulated tail. Speaking of that tail, the instructions are a little vague about just how to tuck it away in vehicle mode. I've come up with two different ways.
I think I like the way the left pic looks better. Has anyone else had to make this call yet? Also it looks like Seibertron has his just sticking up in the air. And is it just me or does the back of the car have a batmaniness to it?

Thoughts, suggestions, TL;DR?
See, this is what I wanted to hear. I haven't given this show a shot yet, and I now want to. Binge watch here I come. Although I'll be taking it a step further and buying them on iTunes or Amazon, like I did with the newest TMNT series that I got hooked on last spring (BTW, A-FREAKING-MAZING). I was a HUGE fan of Transformers Prime (maybe I will keep those figures....) and I think it's pretty cool 'Bee has the lead, and continues to use his voice that was restored
I haven't messed around with any of the toys of this series, so I can't comment on Steeljaw other than he looks pretty dang good for a deluxe sized figure! I think it's the hotel lighting showing off the accents
No Devy for me, waiting for those Warriors to Unite! And my display case is small, and only 75% done. I've still got some dusting to do then I'll assemble the last shelf. Perhaps its time for Shajaki to get his own party thread?

You've gotta fight for your right to party. And I think you've fought enough if you have to dust.

CRAM!!!! You gotta watch the show! I only saw the first 14 eps., and really enjoyed it. I love the art direction. Great character design (especially the Cons), and I like the cell shaded "Windwaker" style. The story is a nice little change of pace, with Bee in the lead, or trying to figure out how to be in the lead. It's kiddie, but I've come to expect that and appreciate it from children's programing. Strongarm is a great character with a sassy little voice. I'm a big fan of bots with animal themes, and all these Con's are super cool looking and interesting designs. Cary - Mind sharing where you've watched them? I'd like to get caught up too.
Steeljaw- I dig that dawg! I have been pleasantly surprised and all itches have been scratched by all the Warrior class toys. I do do (tee hee) something similar to what you do with the tail in alt mode. Can't remember which of the two, probably both. I get the sense everybody is hankerin' for more Warrior Cons, and I am too. We don't know when but we are %96.397 sure that more are on the way. The rumor is Thunderhoof, Quillfire, and Megatronus. I really hope they do the buffalo guy.
Guys, It has taken me all day to write this reply. It's been that kind of day. I was gonna tell Shacky Jack that I'll be the first to set sail on his party barge, but he already done shoved off without me. *rips off shirt and dives in*I'm swimmin' Jack! Hold up! I'm swimmin' as fast as I can!

You can thank everybody's favorite resident transformers encyclopedia Sabrblade for clueing me in on RID15 cartoon thread. But Dailymotion has them all. There are a couple uploaders, but I recommend the "Kino Channel". All but one episode are uploaded in an enjoyable bitrate or what ever. I was using the slow hotel internets and watched them all at 240p. Dig around, YMMV. Anyways here is the link to the pilot episode.

Awwww, I forgot all about the buffalo guy. He was fun. I really like the crab guy too. I think his name was Bisk. Such fun with them 'Cons.
Sidenote, I've been on the hunt for them minicons like a man on a mission.

That would make a great intro song and a battle cry for Bee's team. Autobots said knick you out!
I venture over to backspin from time to time to hang out with Mr. Ed Lover. But, XMU is my JaMm!

it was great! "Don't call it a comeback!" hit right when Bee and Strongarm appeared on screen.
I bounce all over the place on SXM. If it's not Backspin it's Octane or Faction or Hair Nation or even BPM. And then all of the other stations not on the radios but on SXM.com

Even though I didn't get to see the rest of that gif and sometimes I'm a nice guy (when I'm not calling people jerks ) I'll post a couple pics anyway. Its been a long hot week down here and I had a long drive home today, so I promised the Mrs I would only take two pics. I'll definitely try and devastate tomorrow.
And for us IDW fans out there. And it was an easy swap.
I'll tell you what. I can't wait to bust open Lockdown. I'm a little worried that's going lead down a long road of TF animated collecting.
Night, going go spend some quality time wit da Mrs.
