Um...you're still paying for Ultimate Bumblebee, no matter how you slice it.

You bought the Deluxes, you're selling them off (at a bloated, disgusting scalper price) and using the proceeds to buy UB. Thing is, without you spending the money on the Deluxes initially, you wouldn't have the buyer's dough to fill in the rest.

You're not concerned with "wasting" $80.00...you're concerned with having someone else pick up the rest of the tab.

....you make your fellow collectors look bad with your hoarding/scalping mentality. Shame on you.

Yes, what a strange restock this week. Both TRU and two Wal-Marts restocked Cybertron figures, found a Soundwave and some others but nothing special. One Wal-Mart had Alternators; Skids, Rollbar and Ricochet. I picked up Skids and may go back for Ricochet.

Going to TRU this Wednesday and hoping to get lucky and finding 2 classics Starscreams. Not sure what else I want to look for. No movie figs though. Done with it now.

redsaleen is the reason regular folks can't find any of the damned toys they wanna buy, and even making it hard for us collectors to get as well
trust me, when i bought the only 08 bb today, the grandma behind me broke into tears.
do you make your grandmother cry too, you scalper sonovabeeotch?
and i only needed one, so that's all i bought.
but, the joke will be on you when you get your precious ultimate bb out of the box, and then your house catches on fire from a stove lamp left on too long.. hope you have insurance

Be careful what you wish for. It does come back to bite you in the ass. Besides, rise above him and be better than he ever could be.

Thank goodness my personality is immune from the desire to have all of a series - the favorites I can't find, I order online.

At any rate, my wife has lived in 6 countries including the U.S., some grandmas cry because they didn't get food.

Of course, sometimes Transformers is almost as important ;)

I went to Wal-Mart in Peru, IL, which is a brand-new just-opened Super Wal-Mart. It's on I-80 west of Ottawa and Joliet (about 40 miles from Joliet). They had not one, but two different normal-sized displays of movie toys. Almost all of it was wave1 (Jazz, Barricade, Blackout, Ratchet, Ironhide, Starscream, Swindle, classic BB, Blackout - I got the last one of those, Scorponok, leader Prime and Megatron), but I did see voyager Megatron and Prime, as well as Dreadwing. Also a bunch of FAB's including Frenzy, Barricade, and Blackout. Lots of RWG's but none of the new RWG stuff. Oh, and of course the shelf-warmers.

I got Blackout, Classic BB, Scorponok, and Barricade. My movie cast of Leaders, Deluxes (including both BB's), and Voyagers is complete!

DAMMIT, I just had to be in class at UCSD when you posted this, else I would've driven there right after.

Hopefully that means the Kohl's in Oceanside will be getting some in soon.

today was a good day to be me . I've been calling my local Wal-Mart everyday and yesterday the dude told me they were getting Deluxes in today. I know their patterns and they usually restock toys around 7:30PM. So I roll up in there around 8:00 and they got nothin.

I'm all kinda of disappointed, but then I spot Chad, beautiful beautiful Chad (note: I am not gay, it's a joke). He's a random dude working in Toys. Well I ask him what's up and he says there was noone to stock toys but he's pretty sure that some deluxes came in. I ask him if there's any way to check. He uses his scanning gun and says yeah they're back there. He say's that the midnight restock team should be done around 7:00Am. I ask if he knows what cases they got and tell him the fig I'm looking for. He says he'll check.

He goes back and is away for a while, but then comes back holding a case of Deluxes in one hand and an 08 Bumblebee in the other which he hands to me. He begins putting some of the other stuff from the box on the pegs. Then i spot Dropkick "Oh snap I've wanted one of those!" i exclaim as I grab Dropkick. I ask him if there were any cases that had a pink motorcycle in them. He says he'll check. Next time I see him he's wheeling out a cart of boxes and holding another 08 Bumblebee which he hands to me. There's some Classic Voyagers too. The Jetfire mocks me for having ordered him online a week ago... he said this was just the loose stuff there was more moxes plastic wrapped in back.

So I got 2 08 Bumblebees and a Dropkick. I'll go back tomorrow to see if I can pick up Arcee and possibly some Alternators going be what other people have seen stocked.

Image

In addition the Alternators loose Rumble and Ravage I won on eBay came in today (in great condition) and the Classics Voyager Jetfire.

I checked two walmarts this week... found nothing except one was stocking up on BB Unleashed statues and the other was getting old stock from Classics and Cybertron. I think I'll try Kohl's for the 08 BBs.

I woke up and knew it'd be a good day today. Finally scored 08 BB from Kohl's, and then on a whim I went to check out TRU. I was there last night and they had zilch. This morning, as of 10:30am? A ****load of stuff. They got a new shipment of Movie Deluxes in, and I'm presuming that people that went there before 10:30 snatched all the 08 BB's, because there was none to be found. However, they did have the following stuff:

Movie Deluxes:
Payload 1x
Longarm 1x
Arcee 1x
Brawl 1x
Dreadwing 1x

In addition they had a ton of Classics, more than I've ever seen at a Wal-Mart. Also had a couple Cybertron Voyagers and Mini-Cons.

The TRU here in Reno is still pretty barren. Nothing but a bunch of tiny titaniums and real gear junk. Oh, and about 50 Voyager Megs and Primes.

Good for you. I haven't seen much new in the TRU close to my place for over a month now.

Yeah, that was the first new stuff I'd seen in over a month too, so I'd say you're just about due for some new toys.

I finally picked up Arcee at KB toys today. They had quite a number of Dread wing warming the pegs.

I did not enjoy the inflated KB toys prices though.
