My girlfriend and I took a mini-vacation yesterday, a two-day trip down to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, spent the night in a suite at the Isle of Capri. On our way home earlier today, we stopped at an outlet mall in Gulfport. This included a visit to Kay-Bee Toys, where I found several first-wave movie deluxes, as well as some old Transformers Universe figures (Sharkticon, Barricade, Lugnutz, and Storm-somethingorother). Anybody else found any secret stashes like this?

Maybe 2 or 3 years ago, I found a Beast Wars Transmetal Scavenger and some Drillbits at Zellers, probably 6 or 7 years after Beast Machines ended (which means they were probably there for 2 or 3 years before that :shock:

)

I remember I found a BW Quickstrike at a KB Toys in a mall once, bought that sucker and was so happy. Beast Wars had been over for a while. One liquidator toy store in St. Augustine I found a shitload of Machine Figures back in the 90s, but that have been when they had just come out for all I know. I wish I hadn't sold my BW stuff. I need another Quickstrike

I remember i got Laser prime at a Kay Bee about 4 yrs after G2 ended for about 10 bucks.

That's SO funny! I went to an outlet KB this past weekend, too, Savage. :lol:

I saw the same stuff you did. I picked up Sharkticon, cause I wasn't re-collecting during Energon, and Sharkticon is pretty cool. Outlet KBs are great places to find old stuff.

Yeah, I believe Hasbro is still making those, they sell them at dollar stores and KB toys. If there was some Energon/Cybertron figures you missed out on I recommend you check around those type of stores.

I think the oldest TF I ever found in a store were some old Armada mini-cons at Wal-mart in beat up packaging for about three bucks towards the end of Energon. Then I found some Energon voyagers and ultras for half off at KB in 06.

That's nothing. Occasionally at my Local Job Lot, I find those figures, and the deluxes are 5 dollars!

The wal-mart near my house has nothing but wave one deluxe movie figures. They dont even have the wal-mart exclusives. They have just wave one.

3 RID Primes and a BM Blastcharge, still sit on the shelves of a Toyshop near me, I would buy them if they wouldn't double the price every now and then...
In Fogia, Italy there is a Toystore that still has Bw toys, the oldest was Inferno.

There's this Big Lots that has plenty of old Universe figs. Family Dollar had some Energon scout Universes too.

I remember picking up a BW Scavenger at TRU around the time
the Hasbro Commemoratives were out. The box was destroyed though.

I once stumbled upon four Energon Deluxes, one of each. There were Starscream, Prowl, Rodimus and Snowcat. I like the G1 Rodimus Prime character, so I picked up Energon Roddie. A week later the other three were gone. I didn't mind missing out on Screamer and Prowl, but I would've liked that Snowcat...

About 4 years ago, I saw a Beast Wars Transmetal Optimal Optimus at the Toys R Us in Arlington Heights northwest of Chicago. I almost bought it just because I hadn't seen one in so long at stores.

About two years ago, I bought some case fresh Armada Starscreams and Red Alerts at the Toys R Us out in Maywood just west of Chicago. The figures were on clearance for only $12 a piece. I bought the Starscreams because I knew how much he was going for on eBay. I think I got around $75 a piece for each of the extra Starscreams that I sat on until last August. I'd say that was a good little find.

Maxway, a family dollar type store fets there hands on Energon/Cybertron every now and then. Surprisingly, the Energon toys are first run packaging, not the cheap universe dollar store versions.

If I get this job at Wal-Mart I need to start stocking up on figures and shipping supplies cuz I'm gonna be hitting eBay every pay week. Should be able to bring in extra cash especially with 10% off. I'll keep my fellow Seibertronians in mind though and you guys will get first dibs at below eBay prices.

The best I find at Dollar stores or Big Lots are just the cheap KO Beast Wars figure. Recently, I found the Beast Machines Prime and Leo Convoy.

Oh, and there was a horrible KO Prowl style figure.

A few weeks back me and my fiance went to wal mart out in the boonies and found Tfs Energon 2 packs! It was Rodimus Prime and Snowcat!

What's funny is I bought one of those Scavengers a few years back from Zellers. I remember when they were new sitting on the shelves and all those years later, there it is. I almost picked him up a ton of times and then one day when I was really getting back into collecting, I did pick it up.

The other ones I remember seeing a lot were Beast Wars Drillbit and Beast Machines Blastcharge at the Bay. I'm sure they were there a few years back at Erin Mills Town Centre, and also at a Bay in Niagra Falls.
