I like the cardboard cutout BUT it can be hooked directly behind the window. you have to fold the head frward just a little but it looks even better than it just floating in the background.

i prefer the cardboard heads mounted above the windsheild.

Good idea though, but they look like a couple of astronauts behind that windsheild.

And those custom heads are very nice, but a bit over the top on price.

Can any of you please tell me what paint goes right? Is cherry red acrylic enamel paint good for this? I'm not really experienced with a paint brush. I'm certain it is going to come out bubbly if I try. How about spray paint? I know there are these transparent sheets where you put it over an automobile and the paint comes out perfect when you spray over it. Where can I find those but smaller? Thankyou!

Check on the other side of the box by opening it. The face with the chest cardboard is located on one of the white side closing flap panels. May you find it.

a minor tweak to give your ratchets/ironhides a more humanoid look once the card heads are attached, i got this idea from a Tf forum thread (i forget where, hopefully not this one lest i look really daft). simply rotate the arms up so the hands take the shoulder spot and vice versa. this gives a more normal arm position but of course you have to do a bit of pretending with the hands and shoulders, it actually looks quite good.
