*sighs*

That’s cool. Nobody's forcing you to answer it. But I do feel compelled to ask the question for those who might be willing to answer it with something logical...
To be blatantly clear, I speak only for myself here. I like this project a lot. I've said so since we've started seeing the first promo pictures, and became even more enamored by it when I saw the Pretender Starscream homage. Towards the end of last year, I'm sure one could go through this thread and find me stating I would start saving money to help fund the project.
Cut to the present. I've yet to pledge any money to the cause. I didn't save any money like I thought I would for this. Frankly, there are just several other items that I want more than these. I'm also a bit put off that the Starscream and Sunstorm (and all the other seeker homages) are stretch goals. However, without my help and others, this project has the potential to fail. Possible, but not probable.
I need to better manage my spending and my preorders. With less than 3 weeks left to pledge, I need to get off my lazy ass and focus on my budget. You say that there's no risk in just pledging now so why haven't *I* pledged yet? Because of the reasons above. Because I just haven't calculated yet what I want to do. Sure I know the money isn't coming out of my funds the moment I pledge. I know I can add more to the pledge so I can get any stretch goals opened later. But I just haven't decided on my base pledge. I'm not sure with what I really want out of the options available. So I wait. But I'm sure I'll be part of the funding process once all is done.
I hope this has enlightened you a bit. But remember this is only my circumstance. There's likely a plethora of answers to your question, just as unique as each individual is from each other.
So I'm not sure why you feel entitled to an answer. Which has to be the only reason you kick up a fuss here in this thread and continue these witch hunt-like inquiries. And making comments like "well, if it DOES get funded I guess I'll just have to eat my words" doesn't give you any extra credibility. It's just spiteful and does nothing to further conversation about these figures. We get that you're not a fan of these figures. We get you don't feel that Kickstarter is the way that this group should have used to get themselves running off the ground. But that doesn't change that fact that about a week after the start of this project it's already funded at such a large percentage. It doesn't diminish the pledges already made, nor the pledges that will be made.
I could definitely use less of the sensational journalism-like posting that has been going on here.
