Nekoman wrote:First, they’re not knock-offs they’re real TFs. Ryan has already said there will be no galleries of KOs on Seibertron except for Frenzy (I forgot, but there was a specific reason why).
Nekoman wrote:Anyway, they were released a couple years back and only sold in Japan by Takara, the line was mostly repaints, but did have a couple new moulds.
Duke of Luns wrote:Some of the Robotmaster figures have been KO'd, but the packaging is usually a tell-tale sign if it is, as well as a few missed paint aps here or there, different stickers.
The only KO's of Robotmasters I have are of Star Saber and Victory Leo. Pretty decent KO's, look pretty close to the real thing, but are missing paint aps. One thing I have heard is that the KO's plastic is almost as good as the real Star Saber and Victory Leo, which actually isn't realy a good thing. I've heard that Star Saber's sword hilt is easily broken, but I don't know cause I don't have the real versions.
In general, the Star Saber/Victory Leo molds are pretty cool, lots of fun in my opinion, but aren't as posable as they could have been.
