Based on the toys that have been definitively revealed so far:

I'll definitely get Sideswipe, Sideways, Breakaway, Skids, Mudflap, Wheelie, The Fallen, leader Megatron, Dirtboss, Knockout, Ransack, and the blue unicycle.

I'll get triple-changer Soundwave unless he has an earth-mode toy I like better, then I'll get that. If they repaint the new Starscream mold into a different character, I'll get that too.

In regards to the Constructicons, I'll probably end up breaking down and get both Devastator and the individual ones that transform--although, I'm hoping one set or the other will be repainted for diversity's sake. If Dev's wasn't so darn expensive I would feel better about the whole thing...

I'll have to see the other scouts (the red car, Red Bull truck, and boat), but they're a tentative pass right now.

I'll also pass on the exclusive repaints (Skywarp, Ramjet, Whirl, Bludgeon) and any of the characters from the last film that have been given essentially the same toy this time around.

I might get leader Prime if he's needed to combine with another toy and that combination blows me away, otherwise, I'm good with the Prime I got.

So far? I'm not planning on buying any. I may be persuaded otherwise later on, like with the first movie, but so far I haven't really seen any I can't do without.

Key characters like Prime and Bumblebee don't seem like they'll different enough to me from the ones I bought last time around to justify buying again. I don't care about having a Sam and BB bestest friends ever set. I'm not spending the money on another Prime just so he can combine with Jetfire, I just can't justify the cost when I already have 3 different Primes from the first movie.

Devastator sounded interesting, until all this crap came up about how you can either get seperate Constructicons with robot modes or a set that combines, but neither does both. Sorry, for the amount of money these would cost in total, I'm not putting up with that.

I haven't really paid much attention to other characters yet, so maybe something will catch my eye, but I doubt it.

I hope to save a some money with this line, maily by not buying a lot of it, but I do have some interest in Leader Prime, HA Bumblebee, the new Starscream mold, and some of the new mold deluxe cars. I'd love to be able to hold off and score huge savings off Amazon like we've seen with Animated and Universe, but I don't know if it'll happen. Especially if/when the movie does well and the toys are all the rage again...

MUST HAVE: Starscream. He has *hands* this time. Yay!

Probably will buy: most of the Decepticons who are new molds (no repaint of the awkward first-movie handless Starscream) or significantly groovy in the movie. (I fell in love with Blackout, for example, from the first movie, though just seeing the figure on shelves initially did nothing for me).

This second group will be in my 'wait and hunt for bargains' mode of shopping. I stalk the savannah like a wily lioness....

I'll shell out MSRP for Starscream. I saw a Voyager class on ebay this morning--the current bid was $51, with $35 shipping. I know you can't put a price on love, and I love Starscream, but still.... I think I can restrain myself.

Have bought already : Soundwave, Demolisher, Sideways, Sideswipe, Scouts- almost all

Will buy: rest of Devestator, Starscream, Megs/Galvatron, Fallen, Leader Prime and Jetfire, the creepy Bumblebee, and whoever else is a new mold or greatly improved one.

I have to say the only thing I'm really interested in so far is Sdieswipe, and the New Starscream mold, but I'll wait for a repaint of that. Don't really like the tribal markings.

I'll likely pick up the Audi: Sideways, and maybe Leader Prime.

Other than that, I'm, not really liking anything I see.

Devastator was a great let down, not because the combining robots don't transform, but because he looks really weird.
That early description of him as a Gorilla was spot on. Big long arms, teeny tiny stubby legs.

I'll have to wait and see what else is released. Such as Leader class Jetfire.

But I'm sure I won't buy any of the scouts, well maybe just the green motorcycle.

I still want that new leader prime and sideswipe, and I'm warming to human alliance bumblebee.
devistator disapoints me. I can only hope for a classics devistator to ease the pain of seeing the movie one.
mudflap and skids are hidious. who aproved those faces?
I'm hoping the jetfire and the rumored arcee combinder look better.
aah well, there's always universe after the movie.

Though I may change my mind, sadly, I don't think I'll be picking any up. I ended up getting all of 2007 movie figs, Premium and non, and have yet to open any of them, mainly because I ended up being abolutely disinterested in them. They are all just sitting in a corner of a closet waiting for me to get around to disposing of them.

Thats ok though, just more cash freed up to continue my Diaclone hunt. ;-)

I'll be getting whatever I can get In san antonio.. I had to make alot of out of town trips, the local retailers just dont seem to get it around here. We'll get 200 swindles and 1 bumblebee..

Because I don't want to buy them and then months later A BETTER PREMIUM VERSION COMES OUT. Just like on the first movie.

They should just make the Premium ones instead of these plastic crap they use.

Just so you know, Starscream is not a repaint or even a remold of the 07 figure. Its a brand new mold with a totally different transformation.

The jet mode just happens to look similar because its based off of the same type of jet.

Soundwave - Nuff said (although i am hoping for a black and red soundblaster re-paint too)

Starscream - im renaming 2007 Starscream to Bulkhead (Starscreams servant built just like him but bulkier for the heavy lifting lol)

Sideways - barricade's 'rival' hehe

Not sure about Devastator (Pricey for 1 bot, from hearing that the devastator set has no bot modes),

contructicons most likely 1 or 2

Most deffiantly the fallen

MAYBE a new scorpinok if there is one (i liked beast wars lol)

Probably not megatron (looks fat in vehicle mode)

Demolisher is sold simply because of the one wheel form (who needs hands when they can speed into and through objects in their way)

the chances are like last time i will get all movie featured decepticons and most toy-line decepticons (i have all but bonecrusher and a few toy-line) and 1 or 2 autobots.

I really like Devastator but.....no robot modes for Constructicons??...too bad for me....
Let's hope that there will be a fully transforming Constructicons-Devastator set(Ultimate maybe..?)in the future....

I definitely have my sights on Leader Optimus and Megatron, but that'd be it for characters who were in the first movie - and I'd have to get a good look at Arcee before I decide whether it's worth it to trade up on her. Other than that, I want to stick with new characters, whether they're in the movie or not, all the way.

I know I will be getting the 3 leader class figures, anyone new to the movie, any updated look to anyone from the first movie in the closest scale this is and Ratchet because I don't have him and he isd the only figure I need to have all the guys from the first movie
