does alternators rumble have real hands?, or just the pounder things
i could have swore he did, but all the pictures i found so far say no.

Yeah, no hands. I would have been nice if they engenereed the drivers with some flip out or slide down fingers.

It would have been even nicer if any of my Walmarts stocked either him or Ravage :-x

I was hoping it would have hands , it would make the figure all round better.

They really should have given him hands as well cos he has hands more than piledrivers in the animation. Is his transformation easier than other alt/bins? To me it looks very basic and blocky.

Yes, and probably by far. I was actually a bit disappointed with the figure since that's one of the main appeals with the line for me.

You may not believe me when I tell you this, but one of my local Wal-marts had a buggy filled to the brim with nothing but Rumble and Ravage for half off back in June…

If I recall, his transformation was complex as well. I was surprised that it was as complex as it was. The pictures are deceiving.

I suppose his legs can be a bit "finicky," but to me that's entirely different than complex. Why don't you be the judge...here's his transformation more or less:

-Open doors
-Flip legs down from front of car
-Rotate feet 180 degrees, flip “heels” out
-Split trunk and pull arms down to side, push buttons to release hammers from within arms (if they don't pop out on their own)
-Rotate and flip up head
-Rotate waist 180 degrees
-Flip chest & leg plates down

And if you consider these "steps," remove the engine and “junk” from his trunk before you start and attach them to his back when you finish.

I dunno...I guess it's more involved than say Movie Voyager Megatron in all his lameness, but it's nothing compared to the likes of Alt Wheeljack, Mirage, Tracks, Skids, Meister, etc... For an Alternator his transformation is nothing special...unless you like 'em easy.

I think it'd take a lot more lines to describe the process of any other alt so it seems pretty simple. I can't even begin to imagine how to describe transforming Wheeljack's arms...
