Chris Ryall of IDW Publishing has updated his blog. He discusses the upcoming mini-series Transformers: Sector 7.

Issue 1 of the 5-part TRANSFORMERS: SECTOR 7 kicks off the last week of September, and what it really is is the first chapter of a big story that will ultimately lead into the third TRANSFORMERS movie.

ive been pissing and moaning alot about IDW lately.

and ill be honest i dont exacltly hold out great hope for the writing in this series.

but thats some DAMN fine art. i havent seen anything this innovative done with the TFs since jae lee's dreamwave crossover with GIjoe set during WW2.

MIGHT even pick it up now instead of waiting for the trade.
