No, actually that's not the case. They might have at one point had a similar starting point, but they're at least as different from each other as the molds used for Energon Starscream is from G2 Smokescreen. Just about everything is different with these two toys. I can't remember offhand if the transformation is the same or not, but it seems like that's even different. Of course, I only transformed them once so I'm not certain of that. But the two toys are each unique from one another.

Can't wait for these to hit the stores, the galleries are just oing to make me drool even more!

Will we get a pic of Ratchet with Lockdown's EMP generator in his gallery. Also, which voyager do you think is better, Megatron or Starscream?

Yeah, I think you're 100% right. Everything is different on these two molds. Even the location of screws and the molds for the fists.

Interesting ... it does appear the the upper legs are the same and the front of the legs as well as the feet are the same.

Well I was probably only fifty percent right since I thought it was the voyager, but everyone else thought it was a retooled deluxe. Now it’s a completely new mold… Oh, well at least I could tell it wasn’t the deluxe!

Also, how are the galleries coming? Think you might have one up by tonight?

The galleries are coming along very well. I have the photos all taken for the Battle Begins Optimus vs Megatron set and the Deluxe Cybertron mode Optimus Prime. I'm only missing the Autobot / Decepticon comparison pics for the Voyager Class Megatron and the Voyager Class Optimus Prime. I have to finish taking the rest of the pics for Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Prowl, Blackarachnia and Starscream tonight. I only need to finish their robot mode and comparison pics for those figures. I will probably launch the Battle Begins set first and then work my wave through wave 1 to make sure they're posted before those figures come out next week on HasbroToyShop.com. Or I might just launch them all between tonight and tomorrow. We'll see ...

I was thinking that the last couple of days. The Earth mode Voyager and Deluxe Primes look very similer in both vehicle and bot mode, just scaled down for the deluxe.

Awesome. Still waiting on my Voyager Prime and Bulkhead, got both other Primes and BB and Screamer. I believe Grimlock and Soundwave are gonna be my faves after V. Prime. The Leaders though, thats a whole new ballgame. They rock.

Deluxe Class Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime and Deluxe Class Earth Mode Optimus Prime are definitely two different molds. Upon closer inspection, both of their legs and upper legs are different as well. Scratch my comment above. They're similar, but most DEFINITELY NOT the same.
