So after putting it off for several years, I dicided to get that Quintesson Judge figure mad from Impossible Toys. There is a problem that I've come across displaying him though. I can only see 2 -3 faces at a time. I want to be able to see all five faces without manipulating the figure or purchasing multiples. My answer was to get a small rotating display stand, but it has occurred to me that I have no idea where to get one; it strikes me as something not found at a Walmart.

What I'm looking for is something with a slim profile, and something that can turn on its own for sometime without me having to reach in, flick a button to turn it off/on. A battery life of a few months of continuous use would be a bonus.

Of course I won't be anywhere close to where I can purchase one (kinda in the boonies at the moment) but any insight would be appreciated.

Funny you bring it up...

I wanted the same thing to display the e-hobby matrix roddy.

TRY ONE OF THESE

I suggest getting a battery powered one vs a stagnant or solar powered one.

I was lucky to find one with a light @ the center of a mirrored base & the light shifts hues between a rotation of primary colors. The matrix roddy display is one of my treasured pieces because of it.

The model shop up the road from me sells a pretty decent solar one for £10. He's had some pretty big citadel minis on his and they're still doing well.

Just don't get one that uses AAA batteries. AAAs are **** and don't last long in stuff like that.

Yeah, Walmart might have carried them at one point, but they've done away with most of their craft department. Still, any hobby/craft store (Michael's, Pat Catan's) should have small turntables like you want. If not them, try Amazon or eBay, or an online hobby shop like Squadron.

Actually Mkall, In the warehouse at work there are a couple surplus small turntables designed for rotating crystal awards, that I was thinking of trying out. Similar to some of the ones Skyfire linked to. I'm not sure how long it runs using batteries, but it also has an AC Adapter slot.

I should be trying one out shortly. If you haven't found anything else let me know when you are back in town and I'll see what I can do.
