The spoiled kids don't realy make me mad, it's the parents that won't do anything about them that does though.

Everytime I go to the store, I always get a crying kid who screams, 2 stupid kids on there roller sneakers playing light sabers, and some dip who always stops their cart right in front of where I'm looking. :-x

These are huge stores with empty isles, I don't see why they all congigate infront of the near empty TF secion even when they're intrested in something 2 isles over!?!

Or if they have a game demo set up that I'm intrested in, everytime I go to play, some stupid kid tries giving me sad eyes so they can play. I tell them flat out, "I have money, go away". You would think that would cause some problems, but after you say the same thing to the irrate parent who isn't gonna get the kid the game anyway, they normaly go away. It still ruins your good time, but you gotta take a stand!

And why does that crying kid always follow !!!ME!!!

Honestly, more often than not, I just leave nowadays. I'm a relativly skilled bot hunter, so I can normaly tell at a glance if a store has something I want, so I don't waste my time with this anymore.

However about 2 weeks ago, I was in a Target, and sure enough it was more of the same old. I found 1 bot that I wanted and hurried to the check out because that dam crying kid was following me again! I told the cashier I was sorry that she had to stay for all that as she looked bothered too.

She tried being polite as the 4yr old began reaching a crystal shattering pitch behind me and mommy did nothing buy saying "Oh, just remeber when you where a kid and would cry when you couldn't get something?"

To which all I could reply was, "No, if I ever acted like that in a store, my mom would beat me!"

We both lauged at that parents expense!

Now, I'm not saying beat your kids, but I am saying there is something to be said for a swift crack across the ass, and a menacing glare!

He hates the crap out of it when I dont buy him transformers, but.... If he ever gets out of line he gets his little but spanked so fast the only thing that transforms is his little cheeks from peach to pink!! I dont want ppl to take this the wrong way but im merely trying to say there has to be discipline in a parent child relationship, Im not saying u have to hit ur kid when he or she throws a fit in a store but i sure as F am saying u need to discipline the lil brat!!! Parents have becomes so weak and timid these days sometimes I feel like I know why there are so many in prison these days.... The PARENTS!!!!!

Thats a good man!

I'm not a parent, but I am an uncle. I love taking my nieces and nephews toy shopping.

Now I am an uncle and can't spank them, but I tell you what, if they act up, I take them right out of there and bring them home to someone who can!

When I was a kid, toys where few and far between, and when I would get something it was either because I saved up for it, or I did something real good!

Grades and chores weren't part of the REAL GOOD equasion though as that was my job.

"Spare the rod and spoil the child" isn't advice, it's a warning!

So he walks over to the tf section where I'm searching through all these stupid prime voice changers cos there were some leaders behind it. Lo and behold I find one leader brawl and I pulled it out of the depths. Then this kid comes over and demands that I give it to him. I said I'd be happy to, but I believe you don't have the money.

The kid hit the roof. He screamed ,WHY, WHY DOES HE GET TO HAVE IT. he was throwing things on the ground, and people were staring at him, and his idiot mom does nothing but stand there like an idiot. Seriously if I had ever done that, my parents woulda smacked me.

So he throws this rock hard pikachu right at my shin, and it hits and I felt like a crack or something. So I call him a little sh!t, and THEN his stupid mom pips up and starts defending her stupid son.

Really, it just pisses me off how some people think their child is so innocent and can't do anything wrong, when they're actually worthless pieces of sh!t being a burden on society.

/end rant and opens leader brawl.

This woman needs to be smacked

I was in Target two weeks back and there was this woman with two small children one had leader Prime and was playing with the damn box

She just stood there watching and my ass was waiting for him to move

I didn't have the funds for it or I would of gotten really ticked off.I just wanted to check out the Deluxes that were there

So I decide to hit another aisle to see something hoping by the time I got back they would be gone

When I get back he is still on the floor his mom keeping on asking him if he wanted it

I figured oh freaken great...So I ended up leaving because the people I was with had to go

WTF is up with parents nowadays are they that laid back?

I take my sons throught the toy section every time we go into a store, and I let them "see" any toys that they want to, but then it goes back onto the right spot again, as I worked at TRU, Kmart and Target at different times in my life, and I know what it is like to have to clean up.

No crying, no screaming, no running around like idiots.

No begging for toys and crying because I say no.

As far as I can recall, I've always been well-behaved in public places including stores. I'm 15, but I still go shopping with my mom. Most recently we went to Target to buy a few school supplies. I was looking at toys, not expecting to get anything.
I was flipping the GI Joe single carded 25th figures and I was looking and she asked if wanted one and I said. HELL YES! I got Snake Eyes with Timber. But my point is when I go to the store because I'm so well-behaved period I have always gotten bonuses .

No offense, but seriously, what's the point? If all they do is get to see the toys, and nothing comes of it, isn't that basically taunting them? Or do you actually buy them something. This post caught me off guard...

I was just reminded of another similar story, and it's worth a laugh as the mom is as dumb as a box of rocks.

OK then, my Mom babysits other families children during the day (Basically a Tax Free, under the table Daycare).

There is this one family that has 4 kids. The oldest is in high school, and she has her own job and her own schedule. She used to be watched by my mom when she was younger, but now she's old enough to take care of herself.

The second oldest is a son. He's going to be starting Jr. High this year, if I remember correctly. This kid is a real brat. I remember when he was younger, he would hit people on purpose. Heck, he even killed one of our cats! We complained to his mom, she did nothing. He's still a spoiled brat as far as I'm concerned.

The third one, is another son. He's following his brother's footsteps. He takes stuff from other kids and hits them. Once again, his mom claims he a little angel, no matter what he does.

Fourth one is a girl, just born last year. Chances are she'll be just like her brothers.

Anyway, my story is about the Third One, named Blake. A friend of the family was living with my parents for a while since she was having issues with her boyfriend.

So she was sitting with my mom playing cribbage one day. My mom went to the refridgerator and got all the kids each a piece of string cheese, including one for our friend Melissa.

Blake eats his really fast and wants another. So he walks up to Melissa and takes hers! She takes it back and tells him, "No, you didn't even ask!".

So he throws a tantrum. Just at that time, his mom, Christie, showed up to pick him up. He told her why he was crying, and she got pissed at Melissa!

Christie left my mom's house, and slammed the door. She came back an hour later, opened the door, and slammed a bag of string cheese on the table and left.

To top that, she called my mom that night and said that she wasn't going to bring her kids to my mom's house if Melissa was there tomorrow!

So yeah, I support having to pass an IQ test before breeding as she is a few Constructicons short of a Devastator if ya know what I mean.

for my post i will address points.
1) i am 14. i get £15 pocket money month, which goes straight into a bank account which is to be used for driving lessons, or on a car or a house when the time comes. i also have a morning paper job, which goes for 6 days a week, and nets me £10 a week, no variables. i have a large local free paper round, which is just once a week, but i have to sort the leaflets into the papers, and there are 165 houses. it can range between £5.76 ( no leaflets) to at least £10.32 (6 big leaflets). so that is between £16-£20 a week. next week, i will be starting another local-free-paper route. 125 papers, probaly about £4.59 to £5 with npo leaflets, and £8? with 6 leaflets. so that is between £20.50 to£28 a week, so i cannot be called spoiled. sometimes ( read: holidays) when it is a few days until i am paid, i may have a quietword with my mum/dad to see if i can borrow the money and reimburse them on payday, but only if it can be covered by that weeks pay. no tantrums, just a quiet word and some wording of which swindle himself would be proud of. i even remind my creditors regularly, so to make ure that i don't end up feeling guilty.

2) kids in store tantrumming- i will update this tommorrow. i need sleep. same with parenting and my views on breeding.

I would have given him the Brawl the first time he asked for it. Then you would have been able to watch the kid being humiliated in front of you when her mom would have said no, and then you would have been able to leave with the Brawl, shaking it over your head for the world to see (à la Mr. Bean) while the little bastard watches you crying.

If I did that to someone else as a kid my parents would have slapped me to the other side of the store! I had more sense than to do that and more respect for my superiors. I HATE KIDS!

They are all spoiled these days. The good thing is that most of them are so fat that if you run fast enough with the toy that you both want they more than likely will not be able to catch you.

You only need to walk semi-briskly for 10 metres if you want to escape their presence.

Or turn a couple of corners in the toy aisles, kids cant navigate anywhere now, they all rely on their parents sat-nav systems :P

I gotta thank this thread! I went to a BBQ today and there was one of these fat spoiled bratty kids there, no joke, a 7yr old should not be pushing 150lbs, and have an attitude to boot!

This little F___er was ruining everyones time, calling me, my friends everyone names, disrespecting his grandparents and everything.

I told his father he better do something about it and he said "if you have an idea go ahead, but I don't know what to do anymore"

I bidded my time trying to ignore him then he called my sister a bitch, which if he was grown, I'd snap his neck for that!

Instead I kicked his chair over took his gameboy and threw it into the pool and told him to look at his dad if he didn't believe me, but ass kickings come to both big and little boys that don't know there place!

And all that dad could do was agree, smile, and nod! That little kid was a perfect angel for the rest of the day.

Just on a side note, the gameboy was already mostly busted or else I wouldn't have done that.

So again, THANK YOU THREAD for raising some rightious ire and helping me to kick a little kid over! Normaly I'd be feeling bad about this, but with the results that followed, I think I did the right thing! Now here's hoping that dad keeps up the work I started.

My sister(a different one) threw a glass jar of crushed red pepper at me and it broke on my head. I was blind for a week and yep, I still got beat and punished!

I always got beat for **** my brothers and sisters did, even if I wasn't even there! But you know what, unlike them, I stayed in line. I have no crimial record(mainly because I've yet to be caught doing anything, I plan) but they do and my parents can't see what went wrong.

It's simple, you beat the wrong guy! Since you didn't disipline your kids, the police are now going to!

But you know what, I can tell a ton of stories about ass beatings I got as a kid from my parents or worse yet when they didn't feel like it my older brothers. But for what it's all worth which realy puzzels me about how times changed, I ask everyone here who took a beating as a kid, do you think you where abused?

I have scars, and I'll still tell you no I wasn't!

Alot of what I took, I deserved, and when I got it when I didn't, well, it only help make me the strong, malevolently just person I am today.

I think thats why I like GranDad from The BoonDocks so much, tough, fair, and when need be can crack a belt like a whip, it's sad to see those elements of that generation fading.

wavelength wrote:for my post i will address points.
1) i am 14. i get £15 pocket money month, which goes straight into a bank account which is to be used for driving lessons, or on a car or a house when the time comes. i also have a morning paper job, which goes for 6 days a week, and nets me £10 a week, no variables. i have a large local free paper round, which is just once a week, but i have to sort the leaflets into the papers, and there are 165 houses. it can range between £5.76 ( no leaflets) to at least £10.32 (6 big leaflets). so that is between £16-£20 a week. next week, i will be starting another local-free-paper route.

When I was 9 I started during summers weekends and afterschool helping my dad on his delivery routes. When I was 11 I had a warehouse job. I never had a paper route though.

All this statred because I wanted a nicer pair of winter boots than my dad was willing to get me. and since day 1 of working, I had to kick money to the house.

Why do I mention this, well, I just wanna say, I respect your work ethic. In this case I don't see you as spoiled, but as respected, and look forward to your update tomorrow.

I'm taking this thread alittle to heart, understand, I come from a large family, I've always been involved with the upbringing of kids, hell I was even a teacher for 3 years.

Anyhow, when it comes to the topic of bastardry, especialy in children, I do take it to heart. Cause think about it, if this generation sucks this much, how much more will the next one!?!

A line must be drawn, if that means belts cracked and hinnies tanned, then so be it!

Weapon: Switch Blade Tail
Being angry is one thing. Hating the children is another. Don't hate the children, don't even hate the parents. Be angry with them, and let them know it. Make a scene that embarrass the parents, publicly.

Once more parents see what a terrible job these people are doing, they might be swayed to finally listen to reason and punish their kids the correct way.

"Spare the rod, spoil the child" is there for a reason. I'm living proof that my parents didn't spank me, and I turned out be quite a bad kid. I was mouthy, disrespectful, selfish, mean, filthmouthed and nasty. Parents hated me, friends stopped being my friends, teachers couldn't deal with me.

Life taught me a lesson. My will was broken and snapped me back to reality (though sometimes I think it broke a little too much of me. But that's another subject for another time)

Don't let your kids turn into brats. Control them and raise them as they should be raised. Once out of your care at 18, it's on their shoulders and you did what you could.

I've seen good parents, with bad kids. Sometimes it's unavoidable, but more often than not...it's the parents and their lackluster job.

A friend of my mom has three kids (I mentioned them before in detail) and all of them have seen jail time before the age of 30, and had serious (non time serving) offenses before the age of 25.

DUIs
Drug possession and paraphernalia
Alcoholism
Methadone treatments
PFAs (P.rotection F.rom A.buse)
etc..etc..

And it was because their mother didn't do her job. She'd do nothing while they racked up their records, and when she finally did do something, she went well past overboard, beating them with plastic baseball bats ('til they snapped in half), her husband would use his steel belt buckle, etc. And sometimes the kids would receive this punishment...even when they didn't do something wrong. (Which was far and few between. But it did occur from time to time, so you took notice that they were actually being good for once.)

Now...all she does is cry and say "I'm just not a good mother, it's all my fault." and most times, people say "Aww, it's not your fault. You tried." No. She didn't.
