I know there are more people than just me who sees one of these and goes "want nao"

For example, the 7-11 slurpee display:



With the internet these days you can get almost anything you want, but for some reason things like this are still like the holy grail or something. You would think you'd be able to like buy these from 7-11 online, or from some independent website that sells store standees. As far as I know the only way to get things like this is to steal them or hope they show up on ebay.

Anyone know some site that sells stuff like this?

Have you tried asking a 7-11 employee? Helps if your a regular customer. ASk him once at the begining of the promotin "what happens to that when the promotin is over?". then at the end ask him if you can have it. Alot of times they just throw them away when its over.

They should make a Transformer named Slurpee he could be a street sweeper. Anyway my almost brother in law got me a display from walmart I think. Its a promo for the first movie it's got an Autobot symbol and its eyes light up. So it's possible to get them unless someone already has dibs on it.

My brother works at Giant and scored me a Optimus Prime/M&M's standee for my birthday. I know they don't like to give out the displays to customers, and he had to rape and pillage to get it. OP is now standing in my classroom in school.

Well, speaking as a Target employee, one of two things usually happen to store displays/ standees/ whatever;

1 - the store manager or district manager gets the display to do with it whatever he/she wants - ie:
Halloween @ Target last year - 2008 - Domo was our Halloween mascot, and each Target recieved 2 giant Domos w/ a halloween bucket to hang from the ceiling; one went to my store manager's daughter and the other went to an a$$ kissing employee, who is no longer employed w/ us!

2 - A team member will usually ask the person in charge of signing @ the beginning of the promotion - ie:
I recieved a Clone Trooper standee last year when we recieved our Clone Wars POS materials; we recieved one too many, and my supervisor was gonna throw it awy so I asked her for it, and she gave it to me - LOL - I ended up selling it on ebay - bidding started @ $1 and the winning bid was $85!! Plus shipping was $35 to England - shipped it flat and that's what the PO charged me to ship it cuz it was oversized! - about 5 feet tall-

So unless you work there or know someone who does, you're SOL - sorry but it's true Or kiss butt, that works, too LOL

They're HUGE!! And so cool - I just bet someone already claimed dibs on 'em

I know I did for my store's ROTF displays

My TRU has a huge display in the front of the store. Like, 5 foot tall Megs, Screamer, Prime, Bee, Skids, Mudflap, Ravage, with 2 huge Bot/Con logos on an exploding background. It is about 6 foot tall and about 20 feet in length from beginning to end...I asked them if anyone claimed it and the manager said he was just going to toss it and that I could pick it up once they make room for the GI-Joe stuff. He took my name and number and posted it on the office bulletin board and I should hear from him soon with any luck. I really just want the cardboard figures. I have no use for the background.

I have 2 Bot and 1 con display for ROTF as well as 2 ROTF logos. All 5 are some kind of PVC-cardboard hybrid that can bend to a certain extent without breaking. The Bot one had the Bot logo in the center with Prime and Bee on either side. The Con one is the same with Megs on one side of the Con logo and Screamer on the other side. If anyone wants em make me an offer! lol! (I know, shameless plug!) PM me for pics if you are interested. I do trades and sales.

Ooh My TRU has the same thing, I am definitely going to ask about that.
