Starscream's chest seems really bulbous.
Dunno what it is about gamer edition, but there have been some odd choices made.

That chest could have been made with a fake part while the real cockpit would have been hidden inside. I think the inevitable Reprolabels set will fix that.
As forvthe vehicle mode it's accurate to the concept art, but I haven found a clear picture of the in game model.

Starscream looked way better in today's reveal than in any of the pictures. It seems that it's not an ugly toy, but rather, just not a very photogenic one when it comes to still images.

They all looked better in the stream than in hand. Soundwave is a bit skinny since it seems like they tried to really stretch him from Deluxe almost Voyager height but he looked a little better on the table.
They kept stressing that these figures were only going to get a limited release on Pulse and Amazon so I'm curious how long they'll stay in stock. Maybe this is their version of a "First Edition" since we're so far from the game release and a proper SS Gamer Edition will come later to retail.
They also said these were on the boat and will be out before the end of the year, but Pulse says February so we'll see if they're being optimistic or not.

I got Starscream, and he isn't bad in person. Pretty nice and stocky really. Although something that I am getting annoyed with is them not giving us a tab on the back to store the arm after wave 1. I like using the weapon replacing arm gimmick, but I prefer to store the arm somewhere.

Picked up Sideswipe on sale at Target today, he’s pretty cool! I was planning on just picking up the bots who appeared significantly in Fall of Cybertron, but at $14 I figured I’d give it a try. Certainly a massive improvement over the original Fall of Cybertron deluxe, the feet are pretty bad but the transformation is cool, it’s a fun figure overal!

The original was a repaint/retool of the abysmal Jazz. So it's not really a fair fight against the new one.

I got my sideswipe in as well. I wasn't super hot on him at very first, but after transforming him, I have fallen in love with him. He's fun! and he feels great in hand. And I love WFC/FOC Sideswipe, so it feels good to have a better version of him.

Exactly. That's why I gave the gun to FOC Optimus and tossed the Sideswipe in the trash.
I still have that Optimus with that gun I think.

I lucked into this guy this week at Walmart. Definitely an improvement over Barricade, but still not a very good mold. But at least he is a generic, and I kinda love him for that. I will need a 2nd one too

Soldier and it's the best figure from this line IMO!

Still wondering why only Bee got the individual re-release treatment?
I'm sure many would like to get their hands on Prime or Starscream without their pack-in partners and in a clean paint scheme.
I know I would like Starscream, or even a redeco into Thundercracker or Skywarp if they were to release it, but have no real interest in Bee.
Also, does this re-issue mean the Reactivate game is still coming out at some point?
This release, just raises so many questions.

We already know, the shoulder/front fender areas that are blackened on one side will match the other side. I got the 2 pack and actually like the asymmetry of the balckened parts on Bee and Starscream.

Most likely not enough open slots in Studio Series. Studio Series overall is attempting to cover movies, SS86 and gamer edition. In that light Reactivate would be a sub group of a sub group with the TF one toys taking precedent right now. I'm certain each of the 4 figures will get their own release eventually.
