Yell yea I'm serious but this battle comes with a twist, it's not the traditional Super Sonic but the insane and bloodthirsty version from the UK comic. While he was a separate being from Sonic but at full power.
Goku can also be at full power.

STC's Super Sonic

Even though Super Sonic is uber powerful, I think Goku is uber uber powerful. I don't think Super Sonic can destroy an entire planet.

Both sides get whooped up on, but Sonic goes down in an uber kamahamaha blast.

Oh STC Super Sonic can destroy entire Planets in fact it is one of his motivations to exist to destroy Mobious, or well anything in his path.
The thing is his only motivation is to kill and destroy, which is awesome.

But I do agree he'll loose this battle but he'd give goku one heck of a fight.

But did he actually destroy the planet? Goku is capable of literally blowing a planet up (Frieza was capable of killing planets in a single attack, and by the Buu Saga, Goku seriously outclasses him), the only reason he doesn't is because, well, that wouldn't exactly be the heroic thing to do. But if we're talking about a psychotic being who has both the ability to destroy a planet, the will to do so, and in fact makes it his sole purpose, but never uses that ability, then you have to assume that he doesn't really have that power.

He never did destroy Mobious, except in that one case where he was put under a temporary magic spell that made him believe the spell had no effect on him. The other times he was stopped due to being turned back into Sonic, distracted long enough to find a temporary way to conceal him or by just sheer luck as he was suddenly running out of Chaos energy and forgot who he was. Still he defeated Chaos by absorbing him so that al that was left was the fish that formed his mind.

Oh why was this comic cancelled?!

So you're saying he has easily-manipulated weaknesses? Like a time limit? Because Goku's only real weakness is "Things that are faster and stronger than Goku." And even then he usually manages to win.

Because this franchise is failing quite hard as of late. Particularly because of the sub-par games. It seems he's only really popular when he's standing next to Mario. (Mario, however, tends to receive consistently good reviews, probably because Nintendo puts actual effort into them)

Nope not a time limit persae(sp?), that only happened while he was still Sonic's Mr Hyde. The time he lost his memory and most of his powers was a weird chance of luck as the EMP explosion he created on his reentering of Mobious effected his body structure which caused his powersurge and loss of memory. Once he had reclaimed his full powers and memories he was defeated by magic spells. His only real weakness is his hatred for Sonic and wanting to make him suffer before he finally kills him, becoming oblivious for everything else around him.

That was a rhetorical question, it was cancelled in 2002 due to poor sales which was the direct result of the publisher deciding to do nothing but reprint old material for a year before continuing the story line, which never happened as sales went down so far that it no-longer made a profit after 6 months of reprints.

I think Super Sonic is kinda out of Goku challenge. Goku looks more fierce and can does more damage than Sonic.

Both are over-powered and impossible. Big Daddy wins.
