Yea...
The stuff I have gotten from them has been packed with an absurd amount of care at times.
seriously, they've been nothing but fantastic in both shipping times and packaging.
^^^^Thats what I was about to say! They OVER-packed everything I have ever bought from them! ABSURD amount of care, I was impressed!!
Curt has even helped me in my search for the Gort headmaster I need. Stand-up guy in all of my dealings with him.

But here is my problem - I placed the order with a specific note asking for a perfect condition package" (This is what stated on their website as perfect box) and still getting a damage box without being informed ahead of time. So how is Curt experience dealing with "picky customer" again ? and how much more explicit do i need to be...

I can vouch for that... UPS is a piece of crap. And I work for them.
Maximus_Blade wrote:OK...I understand that many of you have good experience with Curt but it doenst change the fact that I have bad one experiencing with him. As many of you stated, the package is well packed with multiple layers, it was delivered by DHL not UPS and I inspected the outside of the box OR any layers of the package and there was no sign shows that it was damaged during the shipping process. However as stated, once I peeled the final layer and there the corner is completely crushed. But what the hell is all the crap and dust doing on the window of the box if this was a brandnew package. I just hate it when someone ships you damage merchandise and not informing you ahead of time. If Curt was as many of you said he was the least I expect some courtesy from him to tell me that the only thing he has left is damage ones

Is it as bad as working for DHL?

I had a friend that worked for UPS and they used to play games to see who could throw a box up against a wall the hardest. They also used to ram boxes or run them over with a fork lift. If the box was damaged too badly they repacked it. Several people got fired after they got caught one time.

Probably. I might be willing to bet that UPS pays less too.

I've worked there for 13 years. Boxes do not always get handled gently, but I've never heard of anything like this happening, at least not in my center.

Maximus_Blade wrote:Got a response from Curt that this can either be returned for a replacement or refund (From the response it sounds like my note requesting for a good condition package was "oversighted"). So this is going back for either refund or a good package if it's available. This whole thing couldve been easily avoided but whatever...I'm over it.

Seibertron wrote:Have you contacted him yet? I have talked to him on many occassions at the conventions and have always heard great things about him as a seller from people on the Seibertron.com forums. I would make sure you contact him first (and do it nicely) ... I would be very surprised if he didn't rectify the situation somehow with you. Just make sure you don't approach him with your fists in the air.
