It's Sparkplug's northern cousin! :-P

Seriously, nice looking fig, great posability, if only I could track one down.

Sweet mould. Best looking mini con ever. Although the pure white makes him look unfinished.

Try one of Plugs regular retail release homies from the Cyberton and armada street speed team. (both named oval in america, in japan they are Cyanna and nitro)

Image

Both can still be found pretty easily as it was an overlooked team of minicons for the most part other than in hte japanese afforemention awesome Linkage comic

Thanks for all the support guys see if you can spot on each minicon so far the :MINI: symbol - (on every one but detectus)

Does anyone else see Hasbro's inspiration for Movie Jazz's transformation in the unfortunately-named Plug???

Of course it wasn't really the inspiration, but I see a bit of Jazz's transformation in him.

good point on the autotrooper scheme dude.

This is one of the minicons that wold work great scaled up. The whole street speed team have quite unique transformations for a car alt mode and would look excellent scaled up to something like deluxe size with more sculpt details and paint apps.

I think this is the first time ive said a name for a japanese minicon and its stuck - if only they were all so comical

He looks like he should be on the minicon cheerleading team!

I just read the Armada comics over the past couple of days. There are much fuller developed personalities in the comics than the cartoons.

Plug is pretty sweet. Since we're 9 days in all ready, I'm thinking we're gonna see a Linkage Mini-con/Mini-con team.

Looks good MegaDave. You should know that I'm entirely jealous of your ability to get these pictures up!

I had planned to do something similar with my Minicons, then we were robbed and having exactly zero digital cameras hurt my ability to take pictures significantly. :-(

When the insurance money hits, I'll be happy to help out! :grin:

Whats Next?

Next up is a team of minicons

From Micron Booster Volume 1
Another blind packed set so makes getting a whole team a little more difficult if you were to buy the minicons individually.
The blizzard saber team.
A recolour of the energon saber team from .....er energon
Image

Every team from now on will be required to do a ginyu force style pose
Image

Starting up with lens.
Image

Lens is a repaint of skyboom who in turn is a remold of sonar.

Image
Lens can and will 'raise the roof' at any given time

Image

Next up Quantum.
With a name like that he must have to be some kind of geek really. A lot of transparancy on this minicon and it works well on the eventual combined mode and also looks pretty cool in robot mode too
Image
For some reason this robot mode give me a slightly insecty vibe
Image
Rather cool futuristic jet mode that looks quite differnt to the origonal more realistic version of this mold
Image

Finally beacon
Image
My least favorite of the 3 actually very little posability and the robot mode looks very stiff and static
Image
Image

And now for the main event

The Blizzard saber!
A very cool weapon (possitivly frigid infact)
Image
Image
A lot nicer than the energon saber colouration and holds together a lot more studily than the origonal star saber mold

You must be at least this baddass to weild the blizzard saber
Image

Or even for the most fitting choice i could find
Image

Hope you enjoy todays offering. best served chilled

As allways keep discussing, commenting, ranting, and making some noise in the form of your much valued imput!

Very *Cool* . Love the Team, unfortunately both of mine seem to be a little loose when in Saber mode, and come apart easily.

Still One very cool weapon.

And Soundwave really looks incredibly spiffy with it.

sorry can't think of a He-Man connection for this one. so I let someone else come up with one. Unless He-Man had a Translucent Power word at some point. Well he would have looked really cool with a see through sword.

Another nice looking gallery :) One correction though: E-Skyboom (bottom/hilt) is based of Sonar, not Scattor. Scattor was part of the Night Attack repaint of the Land Military team. In case you need names:

Runway -> Wreckage -> Beacon
Jetstorm -> Scattor -> Quantum
Sonar -> Skyboom -> Lens

I know, all those names get confusing... 8-}
The resident Rewind... well, half of one :lol:

- Jelze Bunnycat =:3

Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him :()
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Brake-Neck/UW Wildrider, CW Offroad
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1
- Legacy Core Slug, Sludge & Snarl

Man this is far better than getting cheap nasty chocolate in a cardboard calendar.

You should end the thread with a pic of the minicons looking out from a cardboard advent calendar! :P

Thanks for all the pictures of rarer minicons too, good chance its the only time we will be seeing these figures, as minicons do noy get the amount of appreciation as their Micromaster buddies did 20 years ago.
