Micron booster 4 Chase figure. Detectus
Okay thats your lot for today. Im seriously wondeing whether to continue this for the full 25 days given the small response and relatively small mount of views this feature has got. Bit disheartening when ive went to a lot of time and effort to photograph and put these galleries together.
All minicons featured you will not see aywehere else on this site in these colourschemes!

So please if you like what you see ive me some indication youd ike it continue. I dont want to feel like im pestering the board by beinginsistant in posting something people dont want/arent interested in

Hang in there. I love the photos.
How can a minicon be an autobot? Isn't it one or the other?

It should be one or the other really theres some great fiction that portrays minicons as a seperate faction such as the linkage comics and the themes explored in the armada comics such as the minicon seperatists movements

As of cybertron, however minicons started being labelled as autobots or decepticons. They still retained a minicon symbol tho as well as a tampographed faction symbol

The classics minicons however do not have a moulded minicon symbol. Just an autobot or decepticon logo

The micron booster 4 set actually features classics molds minicons with autobot decepticon AND maximal and predacon symbols. Stay tuned for some of thos coming up further down the line

its a pandoras box you may never catch em all the further you look in the deeper it gets

Strangely enough even tho i have all the main retail releases in the origonal colours, the x dimension repaints(all the sets) and the 4 micron booster sets and chase figures, with a fair few of the japanese store exclusives and magazine exclusives - the ones im finding hardest to track down at the minute are the unicron battles recolours. Ive got the blue sea team with the flames but i know there was an emergency team with a prowl and hotspot homage in it and im trying to find out whether there were any other sets released in the US like that which i never found on shelves in the UK.

If this all seems a little obsessive, ive been in and out of hospital for half of this year so ive had a lot of time off work in which to expand my hobby

That's a great Minicon. Nice job with the photos too.
Don't stop doing this. I haven't posted for this b4
'cause every post takes longer to get to the next minicon.
You got a great idea here.

There was a Road Rage team (evil Skyboom shield), a (dark) green colored destruction team, night attack military team (all blue), and the previously mentioned emergency team.

One nice thing about collecting minicons, is accepting that you really can not get them all. It's just too hard and too expensive. So, you can kind of collect them with a much more leisurely attitude.

Ive been collecting minicons for a while now - ebay is the source of a lot of them but ive got a contact in japan who helps me out with some of the store exclusives.
Also its amazing what you find mislabeled on ebay, i got my tvboy prime(sparkplug repaint that was a japanese magazine exclusive) for less than $5 cos it was labelled as a gobot

Random really wanted to post a variety and some of the best moulds in their best colours rather than just rare for the sake of rariety.

I'll go ahead and play along and bump you a bit. :) I love minicons, too--did you say that you'll just be dealing with the more recent minicons, so no G1-era micromasters on the advent calendar? Not a complaint, just a question.

I may have to start looking around for some more rare minicons now....

Thanks for the great idea! ;)^

I totally dig the transparent minicon and I am no minicon fan, sir.

The transparent parts work pretty well in both modes. I'd actually pick that one up if I found it somewhere.
