on topic, couldn't they do a Supreme version of Fortmax for the Universe 2.0? i think this would be a grand idea.

I heard the Nemisis will be part of Animated, I'm not realy feeling that line at all, but I will keep tabs on that.
However, I'm currently looking to buy a house. Said house MUST have either a large insulated basement or attic which would be dedicated to my collection.
I always wanted to do a large scale set up with The Ark and figure why not![]()
A nice 8x4 piece of plywood for a base, paper mache a volcano, and build the ship and armerments out of old toy parts.
The best part will be on a scale that large, I can cut a hole in the board so I can get inside and do a setup on the inside as well.
Liege thinks big!

Also I'm suprized no one mentioned this yet...

After doing the math, i conclude 10k in 5 months is not doable.![]()
Give it a couple more months. Maybe a year.

Hmm, that's some kind of Beast Wars II thing. Looks like an artifact I didn't know about, any idea what it's called, more and better pics? Looks interesting....

When I was a kid I had that exact spaceship thing, but it was white. I think it was some kind of cheap toy, and when I saw that in a BW toy flier that comes with the Japanese BW toys it jogged my memory. But, like I said I seem to remember it being pretty cheaply made, all those years ago......

So, the Ark, was again, a borrowed toy design?

No, I don't think that greyish blackish ship in the Beast Wars Japanese product flier is the Ark, because the two don't look very much alike.

How about the first Ark and Nemesis? The G1 spaceships. Are these original Hasbro designs?

Probably someone like floro dery as they were designed for the cartoon - or maybe by the guys at marvel.
Not by hasbro but definatly for the tf fiction

not really on-topic, but just a 'lil bit of trivia...Floro Dery designed probably almost all the animated versions of the G1 TFs, but he will probably be most remembered for designing Unicron, a feat in itself since there was no available toy for him to base the concept on back then. and he is a Filipino. w00t!

That's an amazing feat. It's a very complicated design. In the cartoon, that is. All the Unicron toys, in my opinion, could not live up to the cartoon design.
