The Official Transformers: Animated Discussion Thread!
Re: The Official Transformers: Animated Discussion Thread!
I think they're guarding the All Spark untill the Elite Guard show up. And the so called "Elite Guard" are not verry efficiant if it's going to take them this long to go get the All Spark.
As for the location of the All Spark, it's still in the possesion of the Autobots but it's unknown as to exactly where they are storeing it. My guess is it's still on their ship as it's not likely anyone would find it at the bottom of a lake. Their ware house base is too easy to break into.

Oh wow. If that is the level of human villain needed to make the Autobots look good, we are in for some rough times ahead before the Decepticons get going full force.

That's why they get the help of the Elite Guard with Sentinel Prime, Jazz, etc...and maybe even Omega Supreme. And it looks like Bulkhead's gettin GUNS.

Billy & Fred.
Well, at least Sari isn't like them so much.

All this Professor Princees Power Whatever-her-name-is bashing has gone on long enough. I will stand up for the Princess! Here are the reasons why I enjoyed her brief appearance on Transformers. (Yeah, I just copied this from what I wrote in another forum. Sorry if you read this already
Actually, I found that part of the episode to be an entertaining commentary concerning sexism and gender roles that are marketed toward children in toys. Professor Princess is a female character who in appearance is gender stereotyped and is meant to portray those overtly concerned parents that discusses how people should think, feel, wear, act, etc. She then attempts to forcefully solve a self imagined "problem" by using violent toys of her own. Her hypocrisy is thus her greatest downfall as the the beam from pegasus' horn (which is another symbol of the character's rhetoric and hypocrisy since that is what she used to force her views on others) is bounced back towards her
and, with no way to respond, is left without a way to fight back.
Or something like that. I had it more thought out a couple days ago.
And those were not teddy bears that she threw. Those were stuffed kittens.

This is a children's cartoon show. I think you're looking too far into a character that doesn't really have any depth.

This is Transformers we're talking about. Where an animation error can give birth to Sunstorm. Looking into depths where there is none is second nature for this fandom.

And what a striange birth that was.

Sunstorm I have soemthing to tell you. Your older brothers Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp were planed. Thrust, Dirge, and Ramjet were planed and no they're not deformed, they're supose to have cone heads. You on the other hand, well you're just an accident, I forget to get my smog checked.
Oh I keep forgetting to mention this but in "Along came a Spider" Blackarachnia was seen web slinging like Spider-man.
Seriously Autobots acting as Super Heroes, Human Super Villains, a rip off of Bane, and a rip off of Spider-Girl.
Is there any doubt that they're trying to make Transformers Animated more like a super hero cartoon?
They've really opened this up to do a really good cross over with Teen Titans... or a really bad cross over...
I really think they should do the two episodes I sugested before. One with a fight between Transformers Animated Bumblebee and Teen Titans Bumblebee and the other with Megatron trying to use Cyborg to build his new body.

Well I think that you are just jealous of the wonderful insight that I have.

And just because it's a children's show doesn't mean that deeper meaning can't be found within the context of even the most random characters in shows that many people would consider childish or insignificant. They are created by human writers and more often than not elements of real life or deeper meanings that are buried in the sub-conscious can come out and be revealed in various forms or artwork.
And besides, Professor Princess Powerpuff Wannabe rocks my socks off. All hail the power of she who passes on the awesomeness that is shooting kittens out of a cannon!

Well the creators did say that's what they were going for. They wanted that instead of a "Robot gang-war" show, as they called it.

Shooting kittens out of a cross bow is cooler. Have you seen Mayor Adam West's cat launcher?

That'll be interesting, I like the Decepticon/Quintesson hybrid*. Not so much Lugnut though, don't like him at all.
I call him a Decepticon/Quintesson Hybrid because of the Multiheadedness not because I litterally think he's part Quintesson.
Wouldn't it be funny if one of Blitzwing's personalitys joined the Autobots and another went neutral? He'd then have to fight himself.

Ahh, Mayor West's Cat Cross bow is wonderful. He has found a humane way to use cats to attack those that cross him. And Professor Princess is awesome because she uses stuffed exploding cats, and not real ones. Both have excellent choices in terms of attack power.
This is also a great way to raise awareness about why it's wrong to be using crossbows on kittens with dangerous toys. Sounds like a job for Professor Princess! Dun dun Dun!

Ya know, all this talk about Prof. Princess has gotten me wondering: Is she in jail now, like the Archer?

Too bad though, they only appear in the first five minutes of the episode and then the concentration switches to Mr. China a super villain who infects Autobots with lead paint! Bumblebee was small enough prime could recall him, but Bulkhead is so large its impossible to ship him back to Cybertron and Prime fears he could be poisoning Sari!

Well, don't forget that we're almost to the end of the first season. After "Lost and Found", there's only five episodes left:
- 12. Suvival of the Fittest
- 13. Headmaster
- 14. Nature Calls
- 15. Megatron Rising, Part One
- 16. Megatron Rising, Part Two
Once those are over, the Decepticons will have a much bigger role in the series, with the human villains having less appearances, but now posing major threats to the Autobots (especially the Headmaster and Meltdown).

I think they removed a few episodes from that list though. When I first looked at the list on Cartoon Network I remember seeing 20 episodes listed for the first season then about a week later they knocked it down to what it is now. Or maybe I'm imagining things, It's quite possible I was drunk when I looked at the list the first time.

Well, that's just the first season. There's more episodes following "Megatron Rising":
- 17. The Elite Guard
- 18. Return of the Headmaster
- 19. Mission Accomplished
- 20. Garbage In, Garbage Out
- 21. Velocity
- 22. Rise of the Constructicons
- 23. A Fistful of Energon
- 24. S.U.V. - Society of Ultimate Villainy
- 25. Autoboot Camp
- 26. Black Friday
- 27. Sari, No One's Home
- 28. A Bridge Too Close, Part One
- 29. A Bridge Too Close, Part Two
There may be more, but, as of now, we don't know.

Actually, "Velocity" has to do with a race car and BB getting involved in an illegal underground street racing circuit, which catches the 'Cons attention.
