Well, if you want him, buy him. If you don't want him, don't buy him. No-one's twisting your arm.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

I'm sure that bit we saw of him isn't all I somehow think he can change his robot mode a bit.

waaaaghlord wrote:I think you're a bit off about this figure PR, the individual parts will transform into their vehicle modes but not their individual robot modes. A lot of people seem to just type that they don't transform rather than saying specificly that they don't transform into robots. The other versions being released will transform from robot to vehicle but don't have the ability to combine.
I can't see a G1 scheme hitting shelves this year. At the price I honestly believe that the gestalt set will be a shelf warmer and be on clearance long before the holidays. A G1 repaint is almost asured in the fullness of time but it will more likely be something that we'll see in a couple of years time alongside the third (and I pray final) Bay abomination.

You probably won't need to. I can see this set being over produced and not selling particularly fast at full price. Hold off until a few months after the hype around the movie's died down and you'll likely have no trouble finding it on clearance for closer to $50.

You don't have to pay.
Savage wrote:Speaking of waiting to buy Devastator on clearance, my latest experiences with WalMart has led me to lose all faith in their "clearance" stuff.
Remember that 25th Anniversary Prime that was popping up in WalMart clearance aisles for $10? About a month ago, I found some in roughed up boxes in the clearance aisle at my local WM. Unfortunately, they still rang up at full price at the register. So I waited and tried again last week. Still rings up at full price, and the manager swears to me that $80 (or whatever it was) is indeed the clearance price, and he doesn't understand how any WalMart could have it marked at any other price. I really hate WalMart.
