HK.TK has posted new high resolution images of the Transformers Animated twins, Jetfire and Jetstorm. These pictures show better detail, particularly with the hands. A comic called “Rise of Safeguard” can also be seen. Click here to see more pictures.

TO BE HONEST I JUST DONT LIKE THE DESIGN THE CONCEPT OF THE COMBININGS COOL BUT i WAS HOPING WHEN i FIRST HEARD THAT JETFIRE WAS GONNA BE DONE THAT WE'D GET SOMETHING AS SICK AS THE CLASSICS STORMBRINGER JETFIRE WITH THE ARMOR AND ALL...THIS TO ME IS THE WORST DESIGN THE ANIMATED LINE HAS DONE PERIOD...HERES HOPING THAT THEY DO BETTER EARTH MODES.

Love these figures a little in alt mode, quite a bit in their robot modes, and totally in combined form!

Oh, wait, that's not in the spirit of this thread..

LIKING THESE GUYS THE MORE......*ahem*........I mean, liking these guys the more I see of them. Had a feeling the initial "They suck! No hands!" issues were just the product of poor pictures or mistransformations.

I've liked these since we saw the early pictures even with the mistransformation issues we always seem to get with the ones that "accidently"slip out of the factoy. They'll definately be added to my collection.

not to crazy about there combined form but there individalu forms and jet modes look decent for me they may grow on me after i by them im not crazy about the goggles on being on the other one forget which one is which.

but i would still perfer jetfire be single transformer & not combiner they should have made another transformer with a combioner system not these guys.

it's kinda funny, I was scrolling dow the picks, looking at the seperate 'bot modes thinking that hey, these don't look that bad... then I got to the alt. modes. Ugh. Then I got to the combined mode. Uuugh. I'm gonna pass.

So everybody using caps makes it better? He obviously did not realize his caps were on, look he did not make I a capitol. Give him a break.

I'd take a little paint and dab it over the hands so they stand out from the arms, but otherwise the 'molded' aspect doesn't really bother me, coming from a generation were it was the norm. Sucks that they don't seem to have any weapons though...

Robot modes: good. Jet modes: Simple, but good.
That combined form is still one of the dumbest things I've seen though. Symmitrical docking just don't work for TFs.

The more I look at their individual bot modes, the more I like them. Combined, not so much.

I must say, those two are looking much better with every new picture we see of them. Those first few pics from months ago were just horrible.

I was very hesitant about this set...

I get that same vibe from these pictures that I get as I pull a figure off the shelf to pay for it, "Yeah, Seib's pics looked real cool, but not so much in real life."

That mostly means, unless it's a main, I probably won't get it. But, when I do get it, I'm usually impressed with something subtle about the fig.

This Fire/Storm set will probably be a nice piece. Besides, this is the first representative of a combiner from TF:A.

Lets give it a chance.

The alt mode looks cool as does the Blue ones robot mode but the combination thing is dumb. Looks like power rangers.

Ouch. Did your humourectomy hurt?

I wonder if these guys will show up in the series itself, or whether the included comic is all the fiction they're gonna get.

I must say I'm not feeling the hate for the combined robot form as much as everyone seems to be, I like it. And the symmetrical docking concept is way cool. But the individual robot modes do look much nicer.

These pics definitely make the figures look nicer than the previous ones.

I'll be picking up the pair for sure, specially as it costs only a tad more than a deluxe.

The combined mode is pretty decent. I think a repainted version would make it look better. As someone suggested the hands need to be a different color so they stand out.

I don't like the alt modes, though. For the Animated Series - these are by far the worst alt modes that we have seen. They're on par with the G1 Powerdasher Jet.
