Transformers Haslab - Omega Prime Discussion Thread
Re: Transformers Haslab - Omega Prime Discussion Thread
I've been watching the Japanese BWII stuff and RiD seems a lot like it. Old toys VS New toys. Dust off that old combiner mold and throw it in there.
The only reason we got it is because Transtech fell through. Probably.

New photos looked fantastic, I cannot wait for this thing to be made!
No they weren't.
I have learned that there is in fact a good sized RiD2001 fan base lately, been incredible to see that show's niche show up recently.

If I remember correctly Deathsaurus extra bonus didn't show up until after the window for backing closed and they blew way past the target. Too early to know for this one yet.
The bonuses (like Boater) were announced during the campaign’s backing window
No they weren't.

Hasbro Updates us about Transformers Haslab Omega Prime Gets with a 1 Hour Video
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
Those who are into this year’s Haslab are in for an amazing update. Evan, the designer, has filmed a 1 hour video going through all the toy’s intricacies. That includes a full transformation to each mode and the combination. This is using a sample available at the time, and while the video was just posted, it was filmed over a month ago.

HasLab Omega Prime Unboxing Video Dropped
- Weapon: Vibro-Axe
If you backed the latest HasLab Transformers figure, Omega Prime, Hasbro dropped some news very early this morning- the unboxing video for the final product! Designer Evan Brooks is joined by Emily from the marketing team, and since she didn't work directly on the product, she's never seen the figure, so we get the fun of seeing Omega Prime unboxed through her eyes, which is what backers will be seeing this Fall, when he ships! He is packed in a few separate boxes to keep things secure, and the vacuum-metallized pieces are packed separately from everything else to keep them pristine. As a fun extra, Evan also has his original Omega Prime from the early 2000s so we get to see a brief comparison of the two.
Please enjoy the video below, and let us know what you think. Are you excited to get him if you backed him? Waiting for the next Transformers HasLab instead (which Emily hinted is coming very soon)? Let us know in the forums!

At least it doesn't hunch forward.
Looks pretty cool overall.
Sad I couldn't back it. Goes to cry in a corner holding the original R.I.D Prime.

Yeah. In New Zealand.

Seeing this quite a bit in several online discourses. However I am also seeing a lot of people not getting these emails at all, with some of those people already seeing shipping notices. I on the other hand, have neither. If you track your fedex/ups/usps/dhl, you may see it soon.

I would be curious on whether this accelerated shipping timeline would have anything to do with avoiding as much tariff cost for the US orders as possible and hopefully get them in country before the "pause" ends and it is only 10%. I would imagine that for a Haslab where payments have all already been paid, Hasbro is on the hook for the tariffs (at least until they pass it off onto other items).

Just a word of warning, there's been a LOT of reports of the abs on Prime breaking and cracking, sometimes right in the box. Apparently the gray part that slides up and down the body has too much friction cracked on assembly. Some people have opened up the body and found the fins that cause the friction all bent out of shape.
