I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm saying it's BEEN 5 YEARS AND THEY HAVEN'T MADE ONE YET SO THEY PROBABLY WONT! They didn't even make the CORRECT silver version used in all their fiction, they only made the one for the TFCC because they asked them for it and Hasbro agreed. Ergo, if it weren't for the Subscription Service WE NEVER WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ONE TO BEGIN WITH! Why is that so hard to understand?
You guys said the same exact thing when Hasbro released Classic Thundercracker in that Botcon set.
No comparison. We said that because Hasbro said that. Hasbro said TC went to BotCon because they had no plans to make one for retail, and the reason they had no plan to make one for retail is because Classics was done and over and there was no replacement planned. Then Universe happened and suddenly they had an avenue to release Thundercracker (and Thrust and Dirge for that matter). That was 4 years later, but it's been 5 years since they did that blue Bluestreak and there's more popular characters that people would rather have than him like silver Bluestreak, Ratchet, or even the entirely passed over Sideswipe. They could have done them during Power of the Primes, they could have done them in Selects, they could have done them in any number of Amazon and Target exclusives, but they never did and NEVER WILL.
And how many times did they re-release him after that?
Uh, zero? The Universe version wasn't painted the same way at all, wasn't even the same shade of blue.
Hasbro can do whatever the hell they want. Good for you! Enjoy it! But I can't enjoy mine because they made it impossible for me to get one. So I have every right to bitch about it. I despise Botcon & the TFCC. I'm glad the bastards a gone! I cheered when they announced the end of stupid Botcon. Generations Selects is a much better way to release these exclusives.
Here's how Botcon exclusives work (and yes, I'm simplifying this a lot to make the point): Fun Pub goes to Hasbro and says, "Hey, here are the 20 characters we want to make figures for this year for BotCon and as club exclusives". Hasbro responds and says, "well, you can't use these 6, but you can do whatever you want with these 14 because we have absolutely no plans to use them for ANYTHING in the near future." Like I've been saying, the ONLY way these characters come about is because Fun Pub wants them and Hasbro DOESN'T. Fun Pub not existing doesn't mean the things they sold would end up somewhere else, it means they wouldn't have existed PERIOD. Fun Pub not existing wouldn't have meant blue Bluestreak ending up at another retailer, it simply wouldn't exist AT ALL. That's why I call you selfish, if you can't have something then nobody can and that's such an childish jerk thing to say. They didn't make it impossible for you to buy, you could have, you CHOSE not to.
Every fan has the right to enjoy these figures. Not just a select few rich elitist &%$#^%s.![]()

If that's selfish then I'm the most selfish fan that ever existed. And I'm proud of it. I want every fan to be able to enjoy this hobby equally. Not this segregation by financial status BS. Everybody who wants these figures should be able to purchase them easily. I feel sorry for everybody that has to go without the figures they want. Like with the recent Amazon fiasco. It's all a huge load of BS!
Do you know how many RETAIL figures I've never had a chance of buying, let alone exclusives? Half the Titans return line, never saw it, had to pay a premium for the Legends version. Life isn't fair, get over it, sometimes you just have bad luck or it isn't meant to be, but if you want something bad enough you'll find a way, there are almost always options.
And all the jerks that are like "Ha ha! I got mine & you didn't get one. You suck! Nah nah!"
"Nah Nah! I got some ice cream & you didn't get none!" -Eddie Murphy
