Yes I Have Not Purchased A Single 1 Of The Movie Line For Myself. Its A Live Action Movie, I Think The Figures Should At Least Reflect That In The Way They Look, And The Materials They Are Made From. However I Have Purchased And Gave 4 Of The Line To My 4 Year Old Nephew For His Birthday.
Thank You Sky For Explaining The Difference, Did Not Mean To Offend Any One With My Terminology Ignorance. The Reason I Joined This Forum Was Due To That Picture Posting, While On A Crusade Across The Internet To Try And Find/Track Down Some High Quality Figures "Masterpiece Line". As To The Fact That Its A Pipe Dream, I Say This When I Was A Kid Watching Transformers, I Did Not In Any Part Of My Imagination, Imagine A Live Action Transformers Movie. "There Is Always Hope"
Explain Any Better?!?
good job!! ;)^
well a Masterpiece Movie line idea, i think would be top notch, it would certainly be nice to see an actual movie accurate Blackout, or Starscream.. granted they won't be exactly like the Movie, but they will be the closest toy ever made, and be quite expensive.. the good news is that with a Masterpiece Movie line up, Takara Tomy and Hasbro have lots of time to perfect each toy... unlike the Ultimate crap, or excuse me, Ultimate Bumblebee.. why is it, when a company places Ultimate in front of it's product, it actually ends up being ultimate garbage.. looking at you Ultimate Marvel comics..
Anyways, i debated the Masterpiece Movie line up over and over again with others here, and for some reason they just couldn't get past the Masterpiece line up being just G-1, and not the movie or any other figures that would deserve that treatment..It's like i threatened them with the possibility of them never getting another G-1 masterpiece again..
What they didn't realize was that i was suggesting a seperate Masterpiece toy line.... that while one release came out, and we waited for the next, a Movie Masterpiece was being released in the interim..kinda like now we are waiting for the next MP to be announced, but if it were possible, why not have a Movie Masterpiece being released next, then a G-1 MP.. and so forth....each other time one is done releasing another pops up and they swithc off back and forth..
there could be a design team that specifically works on the MP movie line, and the regulars on the G-1 MP line.. if they need help from either team they would collaborate from time to time, thus ensuring the best product possible through healthy rivalry.. and good news for us G-1 fans and the new comers to the brand.. the Bayformer fans..
welcome!!
by the way, back on the subject of this thread, I would love to see a premium figure repaint of Ironhide in metallic red, with silver and black detailing.. that would soooo rule!!!
