Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

But hrm. A lot of the deluxe molds -- Dropkick, for example -- would look great with a metallic finish. Might be interested in some of those.
A shiny red Ironhide would be love.

The premium releases, while a good idea ... will NOT be purchased by me. If they came out first, that's one thing ... but not after the slap in the face after my buying 2 of each movie toy already.
F that!!!!
Okay, maybe I would buy Prime. They would probably F that up anyway. There would surely be areas of dull gray plastic. I'd rather put food on the table of somebody here, rather than dump more money into the hasblow situation.

What you are talking about is what I have come to slowly realize as a "Pipe dream" and that would be the Masterpiece line up. There may be some condfusion on what the Premium Metallic line actually is..which is just repaints of what has already been released..
Now granted the Custom on the front page of this thread discussion is in fact very detailed, it is just a repaint of the regular old Leader Class Optimus Prime from the movie line up..
A Masterpiece Movie line up, would be more along the lines of what you are interested in.. which sadly will not come about for many years I'm afraid..if not ever.. but only time will tell.. but as far as the premium line it's just repaints, but they are in metallics and actually do justice to what they were meant to be in the film, and that is shiny goodness!!
skywarp-2 wrote:Well here is the real kicker that gets mew, every time I look back at those custom paint job images on prime... the guy never modified the actual toy!!! I mean the plastic is just painted over.. the details are already there!! It's amazing just how intricate and special the mold is for Leader class prime.. and with him being all grey and crappy in the original coloring released by Hasbro you really do not notice how detailed he really is, until the chrome and additional detailing colors brings it out!!!
j3sus wrote:Yes, I Am New To The Forum. As To Welcoming Me, Thanks, Yet You Dont Make Me Feel All That Welcome With The Accusations. Yes I Have Not Purchased A Single 1 Of The Movie Line For Myself. Its A Live Action Movie, I Think The Figures Should At Least Reflect That In The Way They Look, And The Materials They Are Made From. However I Have Purchased And Gave 4 Of The Line To My 4 Year Old Nephew For His Birthday.
Thank You Sky For Explaining The Difference, Did Not Mean To Offend Any One With My Terminology Ignorance. The Reason I Joined This Forum Was Due To That Picture Posting, While On A Crusade Across The Internet To Try And Find/Track Down Some High Quality Figures "Masterpiece Line". As To The Fact That Its A Pipe Dream, I Say This When I Was A Kid Watching Transformers, I Did Not In Any Part Of My Imagination, Imagine A Live Action Transformers Movie. "There Is Always Hope"
Explain Any Better?!?
