Ok how bout this: In the Armada episode where Optimus Prime and Jetfire first Powerlinked(combined), what was he dubbed? Hint: It was a dubbing error, but a proper term to refer to the combination.

I hated Armada and never watch more then 10 episodes but I'll guess......

Eh, close enough, it was Magna Jet Convoy if I remember right. I remember rewatching it one day long ago when I "found" it on an old tape and thinking "They just used an obvious Japanese name for him, hmmm". Maybe if Armada(and particlularly Energon) were dubbed better they'd be better recieved. Cybertron had some decent dubbing/voice acting in my opinion. The accents were odd, but at least they were distinctive.

The answer to my question is Marv Wolfmen.

He's best knowen comic is Teen Titans and the connection to TF animated is that the studio doint the animatiom for TF animated is the same studio that did the work on the Teen Titans cartoon.

There were two human characters that were heavly hinted to be G.I.Joe toon characters but it was never really stated in the toon wether they were the "Joe" characters or not.

The better knowen one was a character called "Snake" who sounded a lot like Cobra commander and at the end of the episode started calling out the Cobra battle cry. Heavy hint

The lesser knowen of the "Joe" that may have had a apperance in the TF toon would be the father of Marissa Faireborn.

Fans have speculated the character, Marissa Faireborn is the daughter of the G.I.Joe offecers Dashiell R. Faireborn who is better known as Flint and Alison R. Hart-Burnett better knowen as Lady Jaye.

Theres never been anything offical proving ether fact but both characters were also voiced by the actors that played Cobra Comander and Flint.

they did infact appear in season 4, The Re-birth P1.

The metal piece that ran from his forhead to the back of his head had changed colors and was grey for Season 4 as well as the pack on his back was now gey too. ANd I dont beleieve it was a Animation error cuz it was consistent the whole Re-Birth Season 4. It's not a Huge change but it is a Change. That detail on him was not the same as in Previous seasons.

To begin with you quoted my question wrong.

A animation error in color does not constitute a design change.If it did then every single character in the whole series would be said to have had a design change.

If season 4 had more then one team of animators like other seasons then it could be considered a design change but "the rebirth" was prodused as one long episode and was animated by one team so it makes sence that the same error was seen threw out the whole story.

I would also say that any color changes wouldnt count as a design change at all because different colors were used on Bumblebee and Cliffjumpers arms in the first season.

Animation style also does not count as a design change ether.So any of the characters that looked different or had more detail like in episodes like "Call of the primiteves" would not be a answer.

What does constitute as a design change would be new bodies.
