Well, I don't think they were beating up on other toys, but they were stealing energy. They disabled the cameras and security.NickRyder wrote:Ah yes, you see the twisties are in there for a few reasons, to keep a 'dynamic presentation' and deter theft are but two of the reasons. The REAL reason is the fact that Transformers are alive, and if left in their bubbles loose, they will break out and start beating up on other toys or stealing energy from the stores.
You see one day a Megatron figure burst out of his protective packaging and subsequently took over Zayres discount stores and drained them of all their energy. Hasbro got wind of this and decided from that point on all transformers will be packaged with many many many twisties and rubber bands... just in case. As this saps a Transformers strength and causes them injury if they escape on their own.
Ever wonder WHY some of your TFs seem to move or fall over on their own... now you know.
And knowing is half the battle.

If you see one, wear steel-mesh gloves before you pick it up. They have sharp teeth, and if any of the flesh of your hand is near their face, they WILL bite. And also the Seekers have the ability to fly as they do in the cartoon. I found out the hard way for both of those things. I also found out one of my Seekers was female, because when I found her four months later after she went missing, she had two babies. She had them in a nest in the basement, behind some dust covered old boxes. Since she is only nine inches tall, they were the size of rat pinkies.
