Whats up with The Beast Hunters attachment gear on this toy? are there any Alt mode pics? I like the Seven inch size & $75 low price. The robot sculpt looks nice. That gun seem like a small pea shooter. 3rd party blaster needs a big gun because his 1985 toy had one.

Well, it sounds quite affordable for a (3rd party) voyager, I guess.

And then, once again, I still don't know if I like this one or MegaSteel's version better...

This toy is 1 centimeter shorter than G1 Soundwave.

Shrink it to voyager scale if you want my money.

I was under the impression that the reasonable price was because it was an MP that comes with no cassettes. Im busting out the ruler to confirm this. If it's voyager like you say, it's so pre-ordered along with any Twincast repaint the do. Screw the purple one.


Edit: Classics scale confirmed. Damn I suck at math. Why didn't they just list the damn height in inches ? Anyways, KFC and Perfect Effect provided the cassettes and Art-Tek will provide a better gun if the one that comes with it sucks. If anything at least the purple render is proof the ugly armor can be removed. If it forms a cassette, in his chest it will stay. If not that's what parts boxes are for. Pre-ordered.

Yes, it's Voyager. MKall is saying he wants an official MP, but this is an unofficial Voyager. We have seen the height on display, they said it its 16-17 centimeters tall. That's the same height as Voyager Optimus Prime.

That armor does come off, and his rifle turns into a cassette. Unique Toys also displayed a Ramhorn toy, but not sure if he comes with this.

Pass - for now.

I got Takara's FOC Blaster on clearance at BBTS ($35 is a great deal for a Takara Voyager), and it's unique enough (see what I did there?) to serve as a Classics representation of the character for the time being.

I too have Takara FOC Blaster (plus a custom FOC Twincast) and I paid $65. But Im still getting this. I always want the most G1 accurate version of the character available for my shelf. FOC Blaster can take his pointy shoulders over to my ancient Cybertron shelf and chill with Vector Prime.

That purple render also shows a much better weapon. He has a rifle that looks sorta like the G1 rifle, but it folds into a cassette! That works for me. I don't need the ArtTek rifle for it.

G1 Blaster was always bizarely oversized anyways. He towers over G1 Soundwave, and looks eye-to-eye with Masterpiece Soundwave! Voyager is better for Classics.

Good point, and if you look carefully, that rifle from the purple pic is slung on his back in the new color pics!!!

Rifle into cassette is a cool idea, me likey!!!

This is one of the few instances where Mkall was wrong. I did misread the height and thought he'd be masterpiece.

So he's a good sized voyager fig, but I'm fine with my DL Blaster in that role.
