If these accessories existed, I would expect them to resemble parts of his alt mode, similar to Optimus Prime's guns that transform into the windguard and smokestacks. If anything like that was including with Onslaught, I'd bet money there'd be a combiner set.

I did notice, but I'm not 100% convinced that's what it'll be. They made sure Onslaught had the guns behind his head to give him that distinctive silhouette. All the Classics/Universe figures are homages to the originals, and that shield just wouldn't look right as Bruticus's chest.
It's possible, I'm just not convinced.

Don't get your hopes up. Hasbro and Takara already confirmed that they don't combine with any other figures and that combiners may not be in this years future.
