Didn't most Titanium fall apart if you looked at them wrong with the rare exception of a few figures. Also I'm surprised that no one mentioned action masters but I guess they deserve a topic all to them self.

WHEELIE. I'm surprised nobodies said him yet. Honestly (don't hit me) I love the charcter (don't HIT me!) but the toy, obviously, sucks ass. I want it no less, but still, WHEELIE, you know?

Amen to that.
I am pissed with Most of the Movie Figures i bought
Barricade-Great Vehicle Mode,Great figure just needs a weapon and Frenzy wrecks the whole figure.
Bumblebee-Had the usual problem that most people had. Bumper dragged along the ground. (fixed)
Starscream(Thundercracker)-Needs Arms and Missiles lose too easily.
Ratchet- HE'S OKAY. Just needs a gun.
Brawl- Speaks for himself.
Primus- A great Figure all together just needs a storage point for the Omega Lock and Needs to be Less Eyecatching and Great Looking.

Unicron- Needs Wings/Shells to be more Sturdy
and Again needs to be less Eyecatching and Good Looking
Armada Megatron- NEEDS LEG ARTICULATION AT HIP!
Thats all the Figures THAT I OWN that could have something better done with them. Not gonna bother looking through all the Figure Galleries for problems that could be changed.

Newest figures:
- RoTF Starscream
- Animated Snarl
- Animated Swindle
- RoTF Demolishor

G1
Omega Supreme. Good luck keeping it 100%
Devastator. The arms can't stay on, one foot is useless for standing, poor Longhaul snaps in half under the pressure, a single panel as far back as possible serves as the upper legs, etc.
Superion. Good luck not breaking the hips.
All the various figures with GPS. Inexcusable Hasbro.
G2
Every figure made of ko plastic that crumbles on its freakin' own.
RID
Prime. Good luck stopping the tires from cracking.
Magnus. Same as above.
Omega Prime. Try keeping it in one piece. Try not to let it fall.
Car brothers. Kibble-covered skeletons are BAD Hasbro.
Armada
Everything. G1esque articulation and 1-2-3 appearance.
Energon
Prime. There's no reason it had to be that fat. No reason.
Everything. Misinterpretation of the term "Futuristic."
Cybertron
Everything. Misinterpretation of the term "futuristic."
Classics
Most of it. Why all the lines and bumps and grooves and blindly placed rub signs?
Skywarp. The cockpit is bad. BAD! Useless "detail" described above catches during transformation. I was extending the legs during transformation and one leg was so stiff it just came off completely. I kid you not. I had to take the entire leg apart to pull the upper leg out.
Classics Prime. WHY?
"Devastator." No.
Movie
Everything for some reason or another.
Titanium
Everything for some reason or another.
Alternators
A lot of them. Why don't the elbows turn inwards or outwards? WHY?

er, last time i checked mine, they didn't look like skeletons at all, and the kibble didn't really interfere much with poseability, unlike most of the TFTM toys. in fact, despite what some may say, i find these to be more poseable than TFTMs and whatnot.

how can you misinterpret "futuristic" when in reality you do not know that yet?
G2 and Machine Wars had worse designs than most of these toys. and these toys are the best thing that happened to Transformers since Beast Wars.

You miss the point. Something Transformers has been aiming for is the complete integration of vehicle parts into the main body of the Transformer. The Movie designs epitomize that goal with the exception of Ironhide and his truck chunks. Animated has taken a different approach to the same concept and to that degree the designs succeed. The Car brothers throw this concept out the window by simply moving the car parts away from the body, leaving the limbs free to move but leaving car chunks everywhere. No integration whatsoever.

I have no problem with futuristic designs. I have a problem with Hasbro's definition of "futuristic." Look at Classics deluxe Megatron. Notice anything different about it? Hasbro got to design it, so it's covered in unnecessary "detail" that would never be seen on a real tank for a number of reasons. It complicates the manufacturing process and probably makes it more expensive than regular tank frames, and the detail serves no function to justify the added cost. No military leader would see a benefit in producing a tank of that design when a cheaper, simpler design would work just as well. We will not see tanks like that in the future. Thus, it's not futuristic.
Hasbro doesn't think that way. They just think kids will be more attracted to an overcomplicated alt mode. And maybe they're right. But it bugs me, and that's what this thread is about.

I can't think of any. I bought every character just to have a piece of the greatest moment of the franchise's history that I was alive to see, but none of them are good Transformers figures. Every single one of them has pointless problems that could have easily been fixed if more care was put into them. In hindsight, I wish I had just bought the FABs to have every character (minus Bonecrusher.)

well i guess to each his own. i must agree that the Car Brothers (especially X-Brawn with the "hoodie" arm) are kibble-istic, but i like it that way since it adds to their character (IMHO). plus, i just like Prowls' (got both of the modes) car doors/skirts. they really look like samurai warriors in robot mode.

Titanium Ultra Magnus. I know there are worse figures, but there was such hype before the release of a non-Prime repaint Magnus that the awfulness of the figure is magnified.

Yeah. it's like a curled robot in a wrapper. I was aghast when i first saw these toys. It's like power rangers or shaider wrapped in a hollow car-shaped cocoon.

i passionately hate movie voyager brawl. it's impossible to connect the shoulders to the body unless you're using super glue.

Deluxe Brawl?
The key there is to just pose him, and not play with him.

Gold Plastic Syndrome. Figures made of swirly gold plastic have this problem, especially older ones. The plastic breaks with minimal stress and eventually desintegrates on its own.
Look it up on the Transformers wiki. It's an interesting phenomenon that Hasbro still hasn't noticed, as evidenced by protoform Starscream.

Is the silver swirly plastic affected the same way?

i fail to see how these become more cocoon-like unlike any other Transformer with kibble. Alternators Tracks was worse. i could give other worse examples like Cybertron Red Alert and Overhaul, Cybertron Primus, Big Convoy and the worst of all, Armada Sideswipe. oh, and Dead End, Rumble, Sunstreaker, Ravage et. al. looks more "wrapped" than the Car Brothers IMHO.
and these RID toys are much, much more poseable AND stable than the best Alternator/Armada/Energon/Cybertron/TFTM toy out there.

Yeah. I see. That type of plastic won't last long. We have some plastic cups and bowls of that kind. Didn't last long.

Sure, he looks great in Death Star mode, but getting him there with all the panels aligned is just pure luck, not to mention a pain in the arse.
And his robot mode is...well...naff.
It's actually not bad if you do it in just the right order (follow the instructions very closely!) But if you don't do it in the right order, yeah, it's very tempting to put into orbit at hyperspeed...or the wall...whichever comes first.

I strongly dislike the Star Wars TF's. They are worthless and just are a bunch of junk. I have tried five and returned every single one of them.

I can answer that question easily.... HOT ROD.
What the hell, he looks bad ass as a car and in robot mode but you can't even raise his arm! seriously.... Yeah, you can bend him at the elbow but I want to pose him with his arm cannons facing someone!
