Legends
I consider Legends figures part of the main line. It's just a different size class. Thus I'd want to see them return, so that we can have the TF2 cast in mini-size as well.
Neat little figures, I'd like to see them return.
Fast Action Battlers
Got all 11 unique molds in the movie colours. The FABs are pretty cool , moreso than most people think. Many have weapons and features which appeared in the film but weren't included with the mainline figures.
Ratchet's miniguns; Bumblebee's built-in-gun instead of a hand-held gun; Megatron's head actually stowing away in alt-mode; Starscream's blade from the concepts and the TF Game; Blackout's chest gun; Barricade's spiked wheel weapon and Frenzy's firing disc and correct alt-mode.
I'd say bring back the FABs =D
Robot Replicas
Eh. Only got Megatron. Pretty much a forgettable line. The transforming figures look fine and in some instances better than these poseable but rather bland figurines. They go nicely with Revoltech TFs though.
Hasbro can skip this one.
Cyber Slammers
I'm collecting the unique molds in their proper colors, but there isn't really much to them. They're cute and kinda fun, but they're really all the same. If you're not a completist, get your favorite character, 'cause they all transform and speed off in the same way.
Not much point in revisiting them.
Robot Heroes
Meh, I'm not into these. Not transformable and barely movable. The cuteness of the G1 Robot Heroes is somewhat lost with the insectoid movie aesthetics. I never saw any point in buying these (that, and they never appeared around here) but I know many collectors like them. More power to them.
If they're really popular, sure do them again Hasbro.
Screen Battles
They never appeared around here, but I don't care. The human figurines don't appeal to me at all and the TFs are fortunately minor repaints (if that) and thus easily passed. The concept is nice and the packaging looks good, but they appeared late in the game, with many collectors already owning the original figures. If I hadn't yet bought these Deluxes, I would've picked these up instead of the single packs.
But they're not unique enough, so I'll pass on them next time as well.
T.E.C.H. (Transformers Electronic Combat Hardware)
I've got two of them and are planning on getting the remaining three eventually, but there's not much to them. Oversized and underdetailed 'electronic devices' transforming into undersized weird-looking weaponry. I like the instant-transformation and the acompanying G1 sound effect, but they aren't really figures.
Just don't do them next time, Hasbro.
Real Gear
I like these alot. Got 7 out of 8 unique molds and still looking for Zoom Out. The repaints got excessive though (three mobile phones and only one version of the video camera?) Give us new molds please, next time. They're great little buggers although I don't see them as part of the movieverse. Just like the Target Scouts and the Deluxe/Voyager/Ultra repaints (such as Big Daddy, Wingblade and Inferno) these look like figures from the Unicron Trilogy and don't fit in with the movie figures. Thus, I don't want them back for TF2.
Just make them a Scout series for Universe 2.0, Hasbro.
