the classics 2 pack sucks, and yeah so the Robot masers version has some issues, posability in the legs primarily, and the nasty missing sections in the truck's altmode, but I still prefer him to the classics 2-pack version... he just looks sooo animation accurate in Bot mode that it's really a question of preference..

I agree. They are transformers, they are supposed to transform, and have both modes be at least decent. However this guy is partially responsible for me actually getting a Magnus & Skywarp 2 pack so for that he has a special place in my collection.

Classics Starscream and Voyager Classics Prime (which is in all ways awesome and not at all janky) were all the motivation I needed to track down the UM/Skywarp pack...still looking for one I'm willing to pay for tho...

Actually, Its not that he motivated me, but that because i went to find him, i ended up picking up the 2 pack.

You see, i had gone to my local Target on day and saw the 2 pack, and nothing else really, so i left empty handed. But I started looking at him in Seibs galleries and though he didn't look too bad so 2 days later i go back to the target, and Lo and behold Magnus and Skywarp 2 packs like 5 or 6 of them. So I picked up both 2 packs and a Cybertron Jungle Planet Optimus Primal. I go back 2 days later to get another Magnus and Skywarp 2 pack for a friend of mine, and they are gone. So getting this guy, allowed me to pick up the increasingly better 2 pack that was rather difficult to find.

Deluxe Classics Prime is like WWi Tit Megatron. If you buy him for anything other than the robot mode, you'll hate him. However, the Robot mode for deluxe classivs prime ias fan-fugging-tastic. The black lever DOES lock the top half, meaning you can pull some seriously cool and complex poses too.

And yeah, Energon prime can combine and look better, but he still look like crap combines with omega supreme (or whatever he's called, its another craptastic energon autobot, who'd have figured!), and I dont have Wingsaber so cant comment on how he looks.

BUT, Cybertron can combine with a Wingsaber too!
And he looks so good combined.
And he looks so good uncombined.
And wingsaber looks so good uncombined.

Sorry, it's gonna take a LOT more than that to convince me that E Prime isnt the worst prime ever.

Cyber Slammers are cute and funny TF's that I find terribly amusing, I'd never put them on the "worst" list.

Prime with sore eyes. Maybe due to the Mexican heat.

It's worse than you can tell from the picture. They got the red paint on his helmet and face shield. And on top of that, it's lumpy paint; with bits of dirt in it. The paint on the die cast parts is noticably a shade darker than the plastic. There's probably knock offs with better quality control.

Thing about the cyber slammers, is who exactly are they made for? 2 year olds? Even when everything else was gone, there's always been cyber slammers. I've never seen them sell out.

That's just it, if you read the packaging, you picked out exactly who they're for. Ages 2 and up. You can bet that before the movie series is over, I'll pick up a couple to hang onto for when we (err...my wife and I, not you and I...that'd be weird) have kids.

Zemper, there's a Cybertron munky fig named Optimus Prime.

I have that Prime and I have to say, he's pretty damn sweet. He actually made it onto my Shelf of Honour with my Classics and 20th Anni Prime.

And I kinda like E. Prime too. Wish I'd been collecting TFs when it came out, I really want to get one!

I have an Alternator Silverstreak from Mexico, that i initially thought was a knock off. I thought i was duped into buying a China imitation.

But i've verified it was the real deal. Original Hasbro toy from Toys R Us.

The fit and finish is really low quality.

Oops sorry. I should have said VERY low quality.

I'd have to say that the Optimus Prime toy that I like least is the Generation 2 toy with the white feet.

Well, okay, they already have one line of toys made for kids that are too young for the deluxe and voyager figures. That's the fast action battlers. And they still think they have to go one younger and come up with the cyber-slammers. And yet, everytime I'm in the shops I see the tiny kids reaching for the other figures. In my day, I remember 5 year-olds bringing G1 Jetfire to school.

He's a pickup truck. Takara had to use a Dodge Ram for one of their BinalTech figures, and since pickups are very unpopular in Japan, they made it into Optimus Prime to make it desireable.

Binaltech series is focused on real cars. Homage to G1 alt modes takes second priority.
