Can an Xboxlive connect to a Wireless Internet modem or does It have to have some sort of adapter?

You need an adapter. It costs about $100 for it.

WHAT??? I was going to buy video games with that. I guess Xbox Live is worth it though.

Weapon: Plasma Beam Rifle

The official adapter isn't the only one that can be used. Do some reasearch and see what other ones will work. I know Netgear makes one.
