I may just do some with links to the images so you can still see those great images an all.. but it was sooooo much more convienet to look at it all on one page..
Hehe, just doin' my part for Transfansdom.
Dude, your cool in my book!!
I can't in good concience leave a post here without delving into another set of figures...if you want to get a good representation of Gigantion, these three figures in my point of view are it..I think I can get away with doing this one in under 5 pics.. as to make the MODs happy..
Metroplex:one of the best representations of a Metroplex, great articulation and his size is perfect..
Though it doesn't appear to be given a name in Japan, the box of the US toy refers to Metroplex's axe-like weapon as 'Sparkdrinker', likely as a reference to his past as a warrior, and how some warriors named their favorite weapon. Hasbro also seems to have added an unofficial third mode by collapsing Metroplex's legs and rotating his upper torso into its vehicle mode position. This was probably added simply because the results have a greater similarity to his namesake in appearance.
The most notable thing about Metroplex is that he is one of the few Transformers in the series to be able to defeat Megatron single handedly, making him comparatively one of the more powerful characters in the series.

What is so really cool about him is that like the cartoon suggests, he actually grows in SIZE!!!
Want more Metroplex, check out the gallery here:http://www.seibertron.com/toys/gallery. ... =0&start=0Menasor:In the episode Giant Menasor sided with Megatron because he was tired of Gigantion's tradition's that didn't make sense. In return for the location of the Cyber Planet Key, Menasor gets to lead the Giant Planet. He briefly engaged the members of the Cybertron Defense Force-Hot Shot, Red Alert, and Scattershot-but despite his Gigantion Transformer strength was defeated.
Menasor eventually rejoined his leader Metroplex after seeing that he was wrong to have joined the Decepticons in the first place.
Cybertron Menasor is depicted in the animated series as being about 58 feet tall. His 8.5 inch tall toy would be about 1/82 scale.
He Came with the Mini-Con, Heavy Load
This guy is quite possibly one of my most favorite transformers from cybertron, just look at his sweetness!!!...Next to Metroplex that is..

Quick-thinking, intuitive and totally loyal to the Giant Planet and its inhabitants, Quickmix serves as right hand mech to Metroplex . It is he who first confronts MENASOR over the evil robot's betrayal of the Giant Planet's traditions, and who encourages Metroplex to avoid becoming involved in the affairs of the Autobots . He rarely fights, preferring his role as a builder and repairman, but when the safety of his home world is threatened, he never backs down..
In all fairness, I really like Quickmix alot, he reminds me of the final robot form of the original Omega Supreme circa G-1.. and judging by the gallery pics of him here on seibertron.com, his articulation is wonderful..

The Quickmix toy came with a Cyber Key with the code VE37 on it. When typed in on the official Transformers web site this code reveals the following secret information: Those Giant Planet Transformers MUST have come from Cybertron originally, because there is an ancient Transformer (actually he’s from 1988) that was named Quickmix too! The ‘original’ Quickmix was an Autobot chemist and he also turned into a cement mixer! Maybe this was the Gigantion Quickmix’s great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather!?
According to exclusive bio information in in the Transformers Collectors' Club magazine #15 Stripmine's function is "Heavy Machine Operations" and he loves action.
Since there are numerous Planets with their own races each with a cyberplanet key, I felt in my list of essential Cybertron toys that I should get the best of the best to represent each world.. in Gigantion's case I think that these 3 are the best.. it saves me some money, considering there are soooooo many Cybertron toys out there that I need to acquire, and most if not all are done very well..
