transform1245 wrote:I truely loved the movie except for the bad language! Why is it neccessary to produce a movie with excessive bad language in it? I was embarrassed for my 11 yr. old son,
I felt the reference to "masterbation" totally uncalled for!
There have been great movies produced without the use of excessive bad language...examples include mostly George Lucas movies: 1) All the Star Wars Movies, 2) Raiders of the Lost Ark Movies.
We need to express our concerns to Michael Bay and Hasbro that we want the rest of the sequels to be good actions movies without the bad language!!
There's just not need for it!!!

I am just making a big deal out of this because lots of younger kids would want to see this movie, look at all the kidde stuff thats being advertised

some of you so-called concerned parents need to actually spend some time with kids....because if you do you will find that they curse. they don't do it at the dinner table...or while driving to work....
i spend a lot of time with kids...in thier environment, at a community rec. center and also coaching youth sports....they are far more worldy than most parents want to accept.
maybe the word bitches is offensive to some....but to those born from 1980 and later the word bitches has replaced other generic terms like: dude, homey, guys or fellas. things have changed. if you want to be effective parents you need to be up to date, and more realistic about the world your kids live in....
it seems to me that the biggest problem is that some parents "CHOSE" to ignore the PG-13 rating....and are now complaining that the movie was not acceptable for young kids....HELLO!parenting is a serious job, and you parents need to take it seriously and use the tools that are available....
i don't know about where you live, but in my state(CA) young kids are in a "sex education" class in the 6th grade...i was 11 when my public school teacher tried to teach us about masturbation,reproduction...etc...

But you know WHY it was funny?
It wasn't because they were talking about masturbation. It was funny because it HAPPENS to real people. The kid's mother asked him straight up if he was masturbating. I can see my own mother asking me the same question ten years ago. It wasn't the topic, it was the fact the topic was brought up by the kid's mother.

masturbation happens kids.
and it's not as funny as it is in the movies.
it can lead to crying mothers, hairy palms, and lack of female companions.

If hairy palms was a result, I'd bet most of us here'd look like the offspring of sasquach.

really, anything except for the f bomb and the sh*t is allowed on tv.
you are right though, some of the best movies ever made didn't use any curse words. and some of the worst use alot..
