"You know he's not really dead, as long we remember him"-Dr. McCoy (DeForest Kelly) from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan I just got through watching that it seemed right given the occasion. I've posted pretty much the same thing about Nimoy's passing at other boards and on twitter. I'm also not a guy who likes to repeat myself. So I'm going to post something a little different here mostly on what the character of Mr. Spock means to me.

There are some people on this planet that just don't fit it...anywhere, not offline or online they are called many names, misfits, freaks, loners, well you get the idea. I'm one of those people. I have a very hard time fitting in just about anywhere. A character like Mr. Spock is sort like that to me he's torn between internal conflicts of logic vs. emotion, a character who is more or less always at war with himself. Struggling to find the balance between logic and emotion, which is something I struggle with myself. I found the words he said in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country "That logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end." one of the most important things every said in a sci-fi movie. I have more or less made peace with my demons and I try to find a balance between logic and emotion, that I can live with, (and before anyone asks it's a personal quest that is different for everyone) as far as finding a place that I fit it I have found that place in my heart.

So thank you Mr. Nimoy for helping me find what I was looking for, and for giving years of enjoyment in your work, and for the years yet to come of more enjoyment. I don't know 100% sure if there is a Heaven but if there is I really hope you're there with your family and friends having fun.

Since Nimoy never was "mainstream' enough to feel you are sick of him, I quess there is no place on Earth that would'nt feel fory for him. He was truely great as Galvatron in 80's Movie, and one of a few thigns good in otherwise terrible DOTM.

All honors to you, Leonard Nimoy, you did a great job...
