Allspark piece.

Postby Officer Prowl » Thu Jul 05, 2007 12:18 pm

I have checked through 3 pages so I hope that this hasn't already been covered.

At the end of the movie when Megatron is lying there dead. Prime reaches into Megatrons chest and removes, what look like to me, a piece of the allspark. He then closes his fist with the piece in it and it changes scenes. I really didn't notice this part until after I watched it the second time but I have a feeling that it will play a role in part 2.

Did anyone else notice this?

I noticed it, but, I thi8nk even if it is a piece of the Allspark, all of its power was pumped into Megatron, so that piece will do no good now.

I would make a nice decorative piece to hang on Prime's rear-view mirror though.

If the entire thing could creat tformers, then a small piece of could be used to rebuild itself, its sort of a sentient creature itself and surely should have a failsafe of some sort in place.

I was under the impression that the cube "died" along with Megatron.

Prime pulled a chunk out, so it still could have power.

I agree that it might still have power. Maybe enough to bring back Jazz? But, story wise, I think the writers are done with the Allspark.

I think you guys misunderstood.

The Allspark was the energy caged inside the box when Sam dropped the box some of the energy escaped it creating the three earthling TFs.

They showed the piece of the box to show that the container of the energy is completely destroyed, so the energy completely destroyed Megatron or it will make him come back as Galvatron, but that piece of the container won't do cr@p for creating other new TFs or bringing back others (such as Jazz).

What 3 earthling TFs? There was the cell phone bot in the lab, and the other 2 were???

They why take it if it is useless? Prime seemed to think it was important enough to take. It must have some valuable properties still remaining for him to take it.

we won't know what it's for until the sequel, probably. Might be used to revive some of the dead cons, or maybe it'll still hold some power and the cons will still be after it.

Not the cell phone, but the three in the city that Robinson already stated. And Prime didn't take that piece with him he was merely checking Megs' remains and the writers had him pick the piece up so we (the audience) could see that it is destroyed.

That would depend on if that piece has any of the Allspark's power.

Of course, it is important to know that the bulk of the original container's mass was sent somewhere when Bumblebee pulled out that small-sized container.

Thanks for bringing that too my attention. Having the mass of the Allspark box decrease links to the original G1 concept of sub-pocket dimensions, which is the overall explanation to both mass-shifting and weapon/trailer disappearance. So, why then did Bay say he was not going to do either of those things and didn't do them, but at the same time did something that functions from the same central principle of TF technology/mythos?

I have a couple of things that might make your head say "what the?".
1. why did all of the robots that the all spark brought to life seem to be decepticons.

2. do you really think that the all spark would be needed to repair some of the bots. for example bonecrusher, brawl (devistator) and even megatron. frenzy, or soundwave which ever they are going with now, totally lost his head but still lived.

and in my opinion I cannot see somthing as all powerfull as the all spark, the thing that created the autobots and decepticons, as just being destroyed. And I hope that they don't do the galvatron thing becuse that can get very confusing for people that do not follow transformers and are new to them.

It could have been teleported to the Earth's mantle. (Note that it takes less energy to teleport to a lower elevation than a higher elevation.)

The Allspark is a life-form. And life-forms can die.

It is worthy to note that in every Transformer continuity, the Transformers themselves can not reproduce. I wonder if the Allspark itself is capable of reproducing another Allspark.

Another thought on all this...

Remember when the soldiers were investigating Scorpy's tail, they mentioned that their "skin" regenerated itself. It's entirely possible the Allspark did that, as well. So Prime removed what was left, in order to keep it from regenerating and reviving the 'Cons.

Or, at the same time, it might be as simple as Prime took the piece to serve as a memorial/reminder of the Allspark and his fallen brother in arms.

Maybe it can still create Transformer, but now it need an exterior aid. Wheeljack and Dinobot anyone?

Maybe Ratchet or any other medic in the sequel will experiemtn whit it. Maybe they will get similar result, except the process will take a few minute, hours or day. Who knows how powerfull this thing was!!!

If they are even considering using the all spark in the second movie to create autobots then they need to explain why all of the bots that were brung to life were decipticons.

and does anyone know why that when bumblebee touched the all spark in the street after he lost his legs they did not "grow" back? frenzy touched the all spark and regenerated his whole body.
