There are actually 27 Alts (Rodimus is number 27). If you count the BT's it probably adds up to over 65 when you count the BTA's and the different versions (2 different Tracks, 4 different Smokescreens, two Prowls, 2 Meisters etc.).

Depends if you want to count the exclusives.

If you are only after 1 of each mold, it severely cuts down the number of figures.

Glad I picked up Swerve when I did in retail. Prices are crazy on a few of them.

Make you all sick to know I picked one up after watching it sit at TRU for two months, won't it? The only reason I picked it up was because I didn't want the Botcon Locusts to snag it and scalp it when they hit Lexington.

Tempting, but I already have my share of Tracks[esessseseseseesessses] or Tracksi.

Alternators Swerve, putting my future children through College... or at least buying them a [used] textbook.

Are the Mustangs (Grimlock, Mirage, and Wheeljack) going for big buck because they are rare or because everyone wants a mustang?

Mirage isn't a Mustang, he's a Ford GT40. Grimlock and Wheeljack are Mustang GTs so I can see where you're getting confused.

Mirage is a GT, not a mustang..

It's at times like this that I wish I were a car guy. And Mirage just moved up in my wants by means of uniqueness.

Well, fortunately/unfortunately I don't really want Rodimus. I already fell into the get a character because of another character you want trap when I just dropped some money on Sideswipe, even though the one I really wanted was Sunstreaker (but you can't have him without getting his brother too  ). Though it may turn out that eventually I will end up wanting Rodimus and then he'll be even more expensive. But for now I'd rather focus on the ones I definitely want (which all happen to be the dang expensive Mustangs and GT [Grimlock, Wheeljack, Mirage]).

Oh and Sunstreaker too, but I hear he's been making appearances in stores so I'm not ready to eBay him up yet.

yeah, sunstreaker is part of the warehouse clearance, so expect a lot of him in your local stores.. or ask a clerk, they should still be able to order him.

FYI I just dropped 21,5 GB pounds on Wheeljack.

I just picked up Nemesis Prime for $20 Australian, it was a clearance item in a shopping centre. I didn't have any alternators and had previously knocked back a op for $30. To be honest it doesn't really impress me that much...
