His backpack glider makes the figure sort of backheavy.. but he still stands alright. If you like the MS, go for it!

Overall badassness makes up for it being pink right? i read that even though it has new side-skirt joints to allow it to kick, that the knees won't bend all the way for a proper crouch

It's a well designed kit if you like the ms. You can pick up the 30th anniversary release with the extra clear parts if you want them.

Char has been making the colour pink badass since 0079.
The knees of the MG Infinite Justice don't allow a bend flush to the back of the thighs but it has pretty good articulation all around, including the legs. It's a design meant for aerial posing so I don't mind that it can't pull off a proper crouching pose since it can be posed very well on an Action Base.

I really wish a group would translate the novels. The waits between the OVAs are gonna be the death of me!!

You could always go for the G-Systems resin.

I've considered it. It's not that I'm afraid to work with resin, or that the price is pretty high. But the articulation is pretty limited. And the sheer weight of the huge resin binders limits the way it can be posed even further. I'm hoping that the HGUC Kshatriya was a trial run for mechanics and sales for the MG.

Episode 2 of Gundam Unicorn was great, though there was a scene that seemed like it was pulled right out of SEED.

Unicorn Gundam is something I enjoy very much as a Gundam fan who largely favours Universal Century MS designs.
Spoilers ahead...
While I enjoyed episode 2, I really found it odd how the scene involving Audrey/Minerva on the bridge of the ship seemed very much inspired(ripped off?) from the scene in SEED where Lacus was used as a hostage. Is it a sort of homage to SEED?
I also found it odd how both Audrey and Banagher were basically allowed to roam freely on the ship, especially during an enemy confrontation. It would make more sense to me if at least a security officer made an attempt to restrain them and get them off of the bridge.
I'm hoping, though this is unlikely, for a departure from the increasingly melodramatic elements between Banagher and Audrey in the upcoming episodes. This is mainly an issue with Banagher. I liked the writing for Audrey in episode 2, it really showed how the character is truly a Zabi in that she's no stranger to political machinations. However, Banagher comes off as a lovesick schoolboy, which is fine but it is more cliched than I would like.

Is Gundam Unicorn supposed to be a continuation of a previous series? There's plenty of terminology that I have trouble with after re-watching the first two episodes again..
Also, wow, I am hella glad that I waited on buying MG Deathscythe... 'cause the Hell Custom is gonna be hella better!

and for kicks (although Freedom and Destiny should be switched ._.);

1.Unicorn starts a few years after Char's Counterattack.
2.I'm glad I waited too! I might be in the minority but I wish they would make a MG Epyon. One of my favorite MS but the kit sucks.

Everything set in U.C. time line is a continuation of itself

What terminology are you referring too? A lot of groups or people, ideas, and technology is new for Unicorn.

It's not a continuation of any previous series but it's in the Universal Century branch of fiction so it has a lot of established background/canon info that it draws from. For example, if one didn't know who Char Aznable is or the Zabi family, the significance of certain characters such as Full Frontal and Audrey/Minerva would be diminished if not totally lost on the viewer.
By the way, HLJ sent out an e-mail earlier today/yesterday announcing their upcoming Black Friday Blowout sale. If it's like last year's sale, it should mean significant discounts on most products they have in stock as well as a reduction in shipping fees. It's a good time to pick up some Gunpla and other related Gundam products or simply any Japanese hobby/collectible products(I have my eye on some Robot Damashii and GFF figures as well as a few chogokin).
We will be scheduling the sale to coincide with a full East Coast-to-West Coast Friday in the continental US, so the sale will start at 12:00am Eastern Standard Time (GMT -5) in the early morning of Friday the 26th, and finish at 12 midnight Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8) that night. During that 27-hour period, savings will abound!

Thanks for the heads up Convotron! I'd love to get the new MG Rezel Commander type, not to mention some more Macross goodness!
Just to add:
If you're not familiar with the U.C. series, then the whole meaning behind the One-Year War/Neo Zeon wars will be lost as well. As well as the mystery behind Full Frontal.

Unfortunately, only the normal ReZEL is currently available in the MG line. The Commander version won't be released until January 2011.
I'm definitely checking out some of Yamato's VF figures and I'm hoping to purchase one during the sale.
The social and political aspects of Gundam Unicorn's story definitely require a knowledge of the OYW and NZ to have full appreciation.
Further on the Gundam Unicorn story so far, I'm hoping that Banagher and Full Frontal won't be involved in some sort of climatic battle. There's no way that Banagher should be able to best Full Frontal without some miraculous ability boost on the former's part.
I know Gundam usually has "genius" characters as the leads but even with Amuro in MSG, it was over the course of months that he developed his skills, Newtype abilities, and had the use of an advanced piece of technology(the RX-78-2). Even then, he couldn't outright defeat Char.
The culmination of MSG was great in my opinion because it didn't fall into the cliche story trap of having a simple final confrontation between a protagonist and antagonist.
I really hope we see a more complex relationship between Full Frontal and Banagher that is similar to what we see between Char and Amuro in MSG with respect to not posing them as simply arch enemies.

I wish they'd get some of the enemy Unicron MS's in MG - 1/100 scale.
And yeah... some of the stuff kinda of makes sense for Unicorn.. it's just that wow, I think I need to catch up on alot of Gundam pre-Wing.

I'm sure a Geara Zulu will eventually be released!
Personally, I'm really hoping for a MG Jesta, and Delta Plus!

I love the HGUC Geara Zulu kit and I think Bandai could make a MG Geara Zulu kit the best MS grunt kit to date.
The Delta Plus in the MG line should be inevitable. There was a poll taken by Bandai several months ago that resulted in the Delta Plus being chosen by far as the most desired MS design for MG representation by Japanese Gunpla fans.
