very funny but probably would've worked better as a DVD deleted scene. What they should've left in, if they even made it was BB buttkickin of Barricade - we don't see that part!

That just wouldnt have bee comedic in any way shape or form. At least the lubricating thing was funny...well it was to me and the rest of the theatre, which consisted mainly of die hard transformer fans as we was at the first preview showing in the country. A 12am showing is hardcore man! :P

I don't think BB could have made his point any more clear if he tried.
And I think he enjoyed himself!!! :D

I thought that the scene was tasteless and did not need to be anything more than a DVD deleted scene. The problem here is, what is it was a movie about just giant people or other bipeds? Would the same scene get the same reaction from the "general" audience then (laughter)? I don't know. Really, every time I think about that scene, I cringe. I saw another movie one time (can't think of the name) where this gang surrounded this guy in an alley, beat him up and pissed on him. Pissing on anyone is just so foul, I cannot believe that it ended up in a transformers movie. Who cares that it was "lubricant" instead of human urine? Why didn't he just turn around and crap on the guy? TF's must have some sort of material that they don't use in result of burning energon, some "waste"? If this movie was aimed at the younger target audience, that kind of adult humor definitely should not have been there. Maybe the concerned parents that we have heard protesting the movie toys have a point? What's a child to think when they see their favorite characters mercilessly stabbing other chacaters, pissing on others, and talking about masturbating? I loved the action sequences in the movie, but some of the other scenes needed to go!

Woah, woah hold on. Are you saying you feel threatened by that scene because it might make kids literally piss on people? I don't have much respect for the sociabilities of people in general but that's taking the whole censoring films a bit far don't you think? I'd like to think people can just find the humour in it and that'll be that.
As for their favourite characters stabbing each other, that doesn't really happen in Transformers except Prime killing Bonecrusher - which yes, I DID find very surprising and quite shocking. I've said in another thread though about Prime being weak against Megatron and how it's a good thing; Prime being a sort of role-model, you wouldn't want to see him trashing Megatron as viciously as Megatron himself. That's the difference between them, Prime will always try and resolve things without violence.
But to say BB lubricating Simons is in bad taste, I'm sure there are PLENTY of American teen comedies and such with much worse taste than that.

Its not like it was out of context either. The S7 guy had it coming to him for being such a jerk, it wasn't THAT stupid.

I'm much more questioning about Prime brutally taking out Bonecrusher.

How else was prime supposed to kill him in a less gruesome way? He would either have to stab him in the chest, shooting him would have taken too long due to armour, stomping on his head would have been even worse...so whats the big deal?

Either way he killed him would have been just as violent as chopping his head off, they just might have taken longer.

And the thing about BB pissing and overreacting to it is just so freaking stupid.

you're equating Transformers to crude teen sex comedies? are you kidding me? John Tuturro getting micturated upon is the stuff of internet porn. i don't know about you, but i don't pay $9 to watch a robot give someone a golden shower.

what i don't get it is why doesn't prime or megs use blasters the whole movie? Not once did either of those 2 use guns. Wtf?? I loved when prime took out Bonecrusher - they should've made the blade look more like the g1 energon axe though. Reminds me of republic commando - the blade in the gauntlet weapon --&*(%^*% awesome.

Its not porn! And I doubt the movie were expecting you to pay $9 to single out that one scene either!

They did use guns. Prime fired at Megatron to stop him attacking, then Megatron slaps his arms together, which form a giant cannon which blasts Prime backwards into a building.
Don't you remember that?

Besides, Ratchet, Ironhide, BB, Brawl, Scorponok and Starscream all use blasters/cannons/rockets. I liked the hand-to-hand fighting, much more dramatic and kinetic than just hiding behind buildings shooting at a distance.

Add that to Prime's flippant attitude towards the death of Jazz and you have the three moments that highlighted for me just how off the mark and poorly conceived the TF characterization was in this movie.

Seems like there's 2 camps on the issue. One says, "what's the big deal?" and the other just finds it tasteless humor.

Personally I didn't see much point in it. I wasn't angered or offended by it, I just thought it was kind of dumb. It's like American Pie or South Park humor. I didn't see much need for it being in a TF movie.

What's next? Bumblebee dry humping a car? That'd be funny too right? Yeah it would. But it'd also be stupid and pointless.

Some people like intellectual humor, other people think watching a dog hump a leg is the height of comedy.

If anything it just reminds me why I read books alot more then I watch TV or Movies. To each thier own.
