I'm suprised no one else has thought of this yet. Given Megatron's "No More Disguises" rant and that everyone now knows about the Transformers do you think that there will be more Cybertronian vehicles in the next movie?

Obviously there would still be some characters with Earth Modes (such as characters who allready have Earth forms) and maybe some new characters on the Autobot side will scan Earth Modes just because they like the form rather than out of nessesity.

But the Decepticon side hasn't really been about selling cars like the Autobots have and given Megatron gave the order to come out of hideing do you think any new Decepticons introduced in the next movie would have any reason to scan an Earth mode? Not like Decepticons were ever really that good at hideing anyway considering Megatron and Scorpinok in the first movie.

On the other hand there could still be others like Jetfire who while being new characters to us would of been on Earth with Earth modes well before Megatron gave orders for "No more disguises".

Sounds like a very interesting possibility.

How long have any of the 'Cons been on Earth? They generally just pop out of nowhere partway through the movies.
The only ones we do see land don't bother with disguises.

I feel the line is a throw-away one placed there for effect.

I agree. Also, I think Megatron just meant only at that point when they're looking for Sam and his parents. Instead of going incognito like Barricade did, he just wants them to flat-out look for Sam the "easy way".

I liked that touch. It sounded just like him... confident to the point of outright arrogance.

Well after that The Fallen reveals himself to the humans, and decepticons destroy cities and stuff, instead of disguising. However, the Decepticons are still disguising for sneak attacks like when Devy awaited in the pit.

Its easy for Megs to be all confident and arrogant like this. Prime is dead, theres noone to stand against the Fallen who is supposedly the most powerfull transformer and his direct superior.

Now look at what the 3rd movie will start with.

Prime is alive, he tore the Fallen apart with his bare hands while fighting Megs and Screamer at the same time and the Fallen was supposed to be all powerfull. He is injured and seemingly massively underpowered. Damn straight he's gonna go back to hiding. You may even see Megs with an actual Earth mode this time out.

Um, correction, though. He didn't fight Screamer at that point. It was just him, The Fallen and Megatron.

Megatron broke his own rule.

Maybe he's afraid Optimus will take the rest of his face.
