I'm the one who leaked the image over at the TF World 2005 boards...a couple of corrections.

The correct image only shows one side of Meg's face...the one with both sides is a fan made mirror effect blah blah.

The other side of Meg's face is battle damaged, and he has a cyborgish eye.

Spoilers for why his head looks like that and what the wires are...

Megatron battles the Autobots onboard their ship on the first episode, is thrown out of the ship and crashes on Earth in the scientist character's back yard when he's a little boy. 50 years later, the scientist is grown up, and Meg's head is in his lab, hooked up to machines ect. Meg's gives him orders, and together they build the Dinobots.

Nice and evil looking face though, much better than the Movie version face I thought we were meant to be getting.

At BotCon they said that they wanted Animated to come out around the same time as the movie DVD. They kept saying December and then saying January. The DVD comes out in a month. Anyone know the premiere date for Animated?

Nothing formal, there was a rumour of January 1st, but there was absolutely no proof or anything of it.

Personally I think we wont see it this year.
