I'm not trying to tell you your point of view is wrong, but I've been coming to seibertron for years and it's always had spoilers in the news. You've been here for a fair while too Meverix, you'd know that as indignant as you can act, the fact that you come to this site instead of others signifies that you support its practices. People who were actually upset by something a site did would just boycott it.

I'm just extremely pissed off about this. I mean EXTREMELY. I don't have a problem with you if you didn't start spreading the spoilers, and I wouldn't have a problem if you hadn't started suggesting that this other point of view had something to reconsider.

As for supporting it's practices, I don't. Not this time anyway. When the movie was coming out and spoilers were everywhere, I was on the side of the 'spoiled' because I wanted to follow the production process. It's only now that I'm on the other side that I've started seeing how bad it was for the people who didn't want things spoiled. Arguing that 'Seibertron's been doing it for ages' as an argument for it doesn't make it any less annoying for the rest of us, and is no reason for them to carry on doing so.

Is it really so hard to see the situation? Seibertron.com did something that pissed off a section of its users. The users have a completely valid reason to be annoyed, and there is a simple, easy way to fix the whole situation so that everybody is happy. Why isn't it happening?

I mean look at it: If all spoilers were kept to their threads and not broadcasted elsewhere, would the 'spoiled' be annoyed? Don't think so. And we'd be happy too. It's a win-win situation. Everybody's happy. You guys don't lose anything. At the moment, you guys (don't mean that in a 'YOU GUYS' kinda way), have it your way and we have no consideration whatsoever. That's the simple truth. We have views different from yours, and reasoning with us to change is just pointless. So instead, why can't we have a little attention so that things can be cool again?

I realise Seibertron's been doing this for a while, but like I said, I didn't know how bad it was until I started on the other side.

And I realise I sounded hypocritical, but that doesn't absolve the fact of the matter.

Incidentally, my 'shut the hell up's were aimed at your arguments, not your views. The idea is to just forgo all this bickering and get something done instead of just hurling insults and arguments which is just dull. I mean I feel like I've not been listened to by the other side in this thread. I've said things against certain arguments and people have totally ignored them by posting the same argument again. It's just irritating.

My attack wasn't personal, Flashback, and I'm sorry if it seemed so. I'm not justifying myself when I say this, but I'm just very, very pissed off.

However, what *does* offend me is this tactic and how you singled out Christians with it. Part of it might be a sincere concern, but there's also a bit of poking fun with it as well, and that's what puts me off the most.

Before anyone says "Well look at your sig, you wear it like a badge of honor or something" yes, I do have a sig. But why not? People have their tattoos that make a statement, others have AA pins, there's bumper stickers, etc and no one complains. So cut us a break and please just don't start.

You didn't have to, actually. Freedom of speech or not, there is such a thing as leaving something be and moving on. You just made an entire argument that was meant (Apparently) as neither attack or praise.

Back on topic:

I do enjoy spoilers, especially for things I happen to be quite excited to see. (Inexplicable is the only word I can use here) However, I'm the rare exception. A lot of people don't like spoilers. Posting a spoiler on the front page where people can't avoid it, where they look by pure instinct, is kind of a bad move.

It doesn't matter that episodes have aired in some other country, it's still a spoiler if you don't live there and haven't seen it.

I agree and for me it makes the show even that much less enjoyable. It takes out the surprise. I am SO sick of people coming here, spoiling it and sometimes then have the guts to brag about how they downloaded it just cause they’re so darn impatient.

I've been basically paying no attention to any movie 'spoilers', ever since Bay said he'd be leaking a load of false and conflicting rumours.

To address the Thread's titular query, I'm not fed up with spoilers.

I often appreciate them, provided they are respectfully labeled.

There is a big difference between posting spoilers on an episode with in a spoiler thread and posting spoilers on an episode in the spoiler thread's title.

case in point

title 1: Allspark shards make Starscream Immortal!

title 2: TFA epi ## Discussion (spoilers)

or

title 1: Ark turned into Omega Supreme in epi ## season 2!

title 2: TFA Omega Supreme Discussion (spoilers)

or

title 1: Constructicons only have 3 members in TFA!

title 2: TFA Gestalt Discussion (spoilers)

I think I've made my point... title 1 shares the spoiler, while title 2 informs of a spoiler.

I appreciate the discrete title because stating the spoiler in the title, and I might as well have read the thread.

Sometimes I don't want to know that wheeli is intro'd at the end of that 'rusty seas and jury flees' episode I haven't seen yet with the transforming sharks, gators, and squid or that Rodimus and Springer are on Cybertron's elite guard fighting to get into Arcee's fuse box.
