Anyone gonna watch Bionic Woman?

Welcome to the General Discussion area where just about anything goes! This area is designed to discuss all matters and does not necessarily have to be Transformers related. Please keep topics relevant.

The only shows that are entertaining, even just a little bit...are as follows:

Family Guy (though it's quickly losing any quality it had. The Star Wars episode saved it from certain doom in my eyes.)

Mythbusters

Burn Notice (though I'm really, really angry that it's a summer only show, so almost an entire year before season two. Smooth move USA, that's a genius move...NOT.)

Psych (finally, a show that's enjoyable. Funny, serious and full of mystery. Handles all three genres quite well.)

Life (new favorite, as of tonight)

'Til Death (absolutely hilarious, the season premiere was so good it makes me sad I missed the first season.)

Stargate Atlantis (ahh, one of the best sci-fi shows...ever.)

Robot Chicken (doggone it, there's some hard work in that show. Super quality.)

Beyond those shows, I don't really watch much TV. And once those shows hit the re-run area...I have next to nothing to watch on TV anymore. =\ But...it does entertain when I have nothing else.

you forgot: scrubs, the office, and flight of the conchords (my favs)

oh yeah-
bionic woman: I-)

Ack! I should've clarified. This list was all in my opinion. For me...Scrubs sucks, The Office doesn't even generate a laugh for me, and I have no idea what Flight is about.

I wanted to watch this last night but I had to go to work, thanks so much for letting me know it'll play on the NBC site. Here I was gonna go looking for a bittorrent and you saved me all kinds of time.

btw, hope you're feeling better ma'dear. :) 8)

Yes indeedy. I usually get behind in my Desperate Housewives, so I watch them on ABC's website. That is the coolest feature ever!

One of my favorite shows is The First 48. I don't watch the fake forensic shows. They try to make it too dramatic and glamourous, while The First 48 shows it like it really is. I also love Seconds From Disaster. And anything about space or planets, I'm there! On the History Channel, if they are playing something about the presidents, I'm glued.

Just finished watching the Bionic Woman *thanks to MB2*

I liked it, I'll keep an eye out for more episodes. Kinda cool how much bloody she-at they can get away with on tv nowadays.

So.......

**SPOILER ALERT**

when the truck smashes the car and you see it rolling and rolling, then there's a wide shot and you see it was a big red semi, was your first thought, "Optimus!! NO!!!!!", Lol, I swear it was the first thing that popped in my head.

Damn cool crash though. I liked how they had the streetlight banging into the pole they were wrapped around. Nice touch. It's the little things. :)

The crash was great. I liked how there wasn't really any foreboding-they were just talking, then oh, here's this huge, horrendous accident. It was goosebumps-inducing good. And the previews for upcoming episode(s) looked pretty nice.

yeah and the evil blond/Bionic #1 was pretty cool. And she was kind of sexy in a really gross kind of nasty way, especially in the bar where her makeup was so thick it looked painted on.

It was like, "ew you naassty." ...........

......... "I like nasty, rowr!"

Lol, ahh, I need sleep.

I think Will's father is gonna be a badass. Somehow he's getting out of that supermax prison and he's gonna do something heinous. Remember that guy said he's scared of Will just because of who Will's father is? Looking forward to finding out what he did.

holy s***. "optimus no!" was EXACTLY what i was going type!!!

idk, this series just doesn't seem very interesting to me. the fight at the end was probably the best thing in the whole hour. the crash was kind of expected, because i remember seeing it in a trailer or something.

The show did all right in the ratings, right behind Private Practice in that time slot. That show looks really boring. I stopped watching Grey's when it became a sapfest and I'm sure that show is no better.

By the way, did anyone else think the little girl's line in BW saying "I just thought it was cool that a girl could do that" or something like that when the bionic woman was running was about the lamest thing you've ever heard?

I thought they had the little girl say that to show Girl Power or Female Empowerment or some dumb thing like that. Because the show being called Bionic Woman and having a badass woman who can break arms and throw someone across a room one handed apparently doesn't stress that point enough.
