How does armor work how much defence does it give you if you get destroyed does your armor get destroyed to? can you give me ansewsers

each tonne in armour gives a multiplacative damage reduction against NON-tactic attacks(tactic attacks ignore armour), the amount depends on the rank/type or armour; iron(rank1) for example gives a 0.01 decrease in damage per tonne.
the only time you lose armour is if you reset a bot with armour, or install a different type of armour.
