There was at least 1 Autobot......the SUV that came to life had a Autobot symble on its steering wheel althou he wasnt acting much like a Autobot.But maybe its like a baby being born.......with all the crying.

For the broken record: I wasn't asking a question specifically because, as AK suggests, I'm aware of most continuities but I can see how Tramp thought I might have been given my use of the word "may". That's my fault there, chaps. Apologies.

It appears his new tactic on being proved wrong is he stops posting and hopes it'll all blow over. Anyway like I said he misinterpreted Leos post, how one can mistake the word 'may' as someone specifically asking a question is anyone guess but I guess his mind just word differently to ours.

Anyway I don’t want to get accused of baiting so lets get back to the topic at hand. I assume the Allspark gives life to mechanical objects and that life forms demeanour is rather random, some are good, some are bad, some are down right stupid.

Thanks for the replies guys. The theories make sense (I suppose)..as much sense as could be expected from a film where a tractor trailer turns into a 30 foot robot anyway.

Sto-vo-kor..I'm probablly be wrong but I think you're confusing the Cadillac logo with the Autobot insignia in that particular scene.

I also apologize for the "ignore me" remark...it's rude but it ususally gets a response.

I checked out my bootleg copy to see if you were right but it wasnt clear enough to tell so we'll have to save this debate till the DVD is released.

Welcome Magnanimous! Glad you chose your first post here.

Sorry, didn't notice your post earlier.

The new Movie seems to suggests all Cybertronians are originally Autobots. They refer to Autobots not as a faction name, but a descriptive "autonomous robots" abbreviation. Kinda wierd.
Anyway, some of them, inexplicably turned into the menacing Decepticons. No explanation on the Decepticons name.
Allspark created Cybertronian life.
There's no official explanation yet on why Allspark seems to create evil lifeforms on Earth.
One of the theories discussed in the forums here, suggest, some sort of "rude awakening" to explain their hostile behavior. Not evil per se.
Other theories, suggest some sort of "reverse engineering" mentioned in the movie, about how all Earth machines were product of human study of frozen Megatron. And that all machines somehow inherited the evilness of Megatron.
Which is which is up to you.
Unless Dreamworks finally gives a solid explanation in the sequel.

Roberty Orci gave an explaination in the Q&A forum of the official movie mesage boards. He said it was because the Allspark was never intended to be used directly on inanimate machines. Instead, it was meant to give life to the planet itself, thad through that, bring forth life. By using the Allspark directly on machines, it creates mindless monsters.

I read both Tramp and Demolisher, and while Tramp tended to use fairly reasoned arguments, Demolisher pretty much did nothing but name calling and rolling out the 'I'm right and your an idiot card'

Interesting. I realise he probably had a prior history of being argumentative, But Demolisher was clearly egging him on. It looks suspiciously like you're encouraging Demolishers attitude of name calling and schoolyard abuse.
