In a way, Beast Wars was ten time ebtter then G1, but you can't comapre because it was the first one...
Its like Star Trek. Even if the newer serie where better at many point then the original, you can't compare.

I quite liked the idea of sparks myself, gives them something that shows they are not mere machines running on preset programming.

Beast was indeed great, I watched it when I was about five, it is some of my first memories. I don't like transmetals thought, they betray the point of a realistic looking beast. I liked Cybertron too, but it looked like the toys, unlike beast wars, where the looked a lot smoother and cooler.
Yay Dinobot, Wazzzzzzzzpinator, original Megatron(Barney's cousin?), Tarantulas, Inferno and Quickstrike.
