As an ideology many of us are attracted to the idea of equality, of an equal chance; however, this is not actually the way the world works, in nature or in business.

That said, when a system is built up on the idea of equality and changes to one that is not, such as Wizards of the Coast's Magic the Gathering Cards, I can see why some people would be upset.

Rather than bash those people for venting their frustrations, why not try pointing out the basic truth and try to help them?

Punishing does not teach; example and discipline does, which is different.

Excellent points my friend.

Unfortunately, you're late to the party and missed the 2 months up to this where people tried to point out the basic truths, only to be ignored.

And as far a us whinning about it, I guess it has become a crime to feel disgruntled and discuss it in a logical manner.. but expected flaming.. so what ever..

Get off your F'ing cross.

You openly invited flaming in your post.

This issue has been done to death.

It's not the so called "Haves" that keep bringing it up either.

It's you. It's not cool.

You know who is cool though?

waaaaghlord, he's awesome.

In every way possible he addressed the issue in a way that would ensure he was able to get the things he desired.

You know who else is cool?

Redimus

At least he can admit that while he doesn't agree with the situation he understands the situation with a clear degree of clarity.

What is it for you now?

Did you just disapprove of the price, or were you not able to go because of your car/expenses?

If you're having as much financial trouble as you claim, isn't the issue really with you? and not with the toys, companies, or fandom?

Counterpunch you forgot all about me too in there.

Seriously folks need to move on from this its been explained intelligently by many folks why we'd never seem them in mass retail, and only way they even got seen was because of the TFCC. The dead horse has been beaten so much it makes it look like repainting Megatron into Galvatron in every series an original idea!

Asking folks to boycot a toyline because YOU couldn't have all the characters YOU wanted is a little juvanile don't you think? Same as going on about this. Only reason a few of us HAVES post on threads like this is we are tired of reading the whining and remember a day when the Seibertron boards were enjoyable to come to and talk about toys not listen to adults cry about missing out on an exclusive when it was released.

Even the people that couldn't get the set are telling you to move on.

Oh and I bet we'll see exclusives for Animated as it becomes more popular and more figures are relased and then what line should we move to when you can get that figure?

Arghh! The new guy's a zombie!

And just in case you haven't had the official greeting yet:

WELCOME TO SEIBERTRON!

Warning: Seibertron contains nuts!

Beware the pirates of the ODB.

If he listed everyone that made a good point his post would be as long as the thread itself.

You know I don't think there is a series that hasn't had at least one convention exclusive over the years. Most of the time they aren't characters the majority of us care about a great deal. But reguardless of who they are or what they represent they always cost a bundle.
