Toys R Us brought back the expensive prices of 2022.

40$ a deluxe, 50$ a voyager.

Now that the BWBB line is basically canceled, there's no more point in shopping there. Unless the last troopers 4 pack goes on clearance.

The BWBB line isn’t canceled, its just changing names. TRU is getting a bunch if exclusives this year, including Cybertronian Wheeljack which will be a hot commodity

There are quite a few new sightings in Canada from the past week or so. The 2 Level A Transformers toys from Studio Series have been found in Canada. These are the SS86 Bumblebee and Transformers One Optimus Prime deluxe toys. They are sold in cases apart from the rest of the Studio Series waves in case a store just wants more Optimus and Bumblebee toys. They were found at Toysrus, along with SS86 leader class Swoop.

The Legacy Multipack was also found in Canada. That's the one with Tarn, Tarantulas, Squeezeplay and Prime Cliffjumper. That was found at Gamestop.

We have reviews of all those toys below if you want to know more about them. The photo in the thumbnail is from Tiffster.

I don't think it sold out that quickly because it was still available this morning.
Despite having the set already, customized to the gills with repros and upgrades, I bought an extra set at that price before I posted the news. I'll keep it sealed just in case.

The Walmart.ca site is pretty trash usually for Transformers. Full of overpriced 3P items, or anything interesting is sold out.

A bit expensive at 83$CAN plus taxes, but it's basically buying a voyager and a deluxe at full price to get a free bat.

Looks like Walmart Canada wants to make some room on the shelves. Transformers from both the Studio Series and Legacy lines are now $3 CAD. And it doesn’t matter if it’s a deluxe, voyager or leader, they are all $3. It’s not a secret price either, they made $3 labeling for the tags.

You can check images below for evidence. Initial reports came from Quebec.

Spoke to a toy rep in Walmart and they said “they haven’t gone to liquidation yet they’ve just started their clearance and Said every store is different when they start depending on their inventory“

So, your milage may vary on this

Pfft. It looks like they STILL have more on their shelves than many walmarts and Targets in the US. American stores have had little on their shelves for nearly four months except for the all the unsold chum and scraps left over from ONE and Earthspark, which nobody wants.

Store manager at my local WM in Guelph decided to IMO, get downright hostile and disrespectful when asked for clarification and why it was not being honored and referred to me / us to the store refund policy,etc

My advice fight for it and use those codes from this post as evidence and escalate it. Don’t be a jerk but be firm but eventually i believe they will relent.

I dont get the “honor prices” bit. If your Walmart has them at $3, then great, if not then that’s where it stops. I would not go see the manager about it. But I would keep checking daily in case that Walmart finally catches up with the rest of Canada

When it comes to clearance sales, it depends of each individual Walmarts, independent from each others. So a "fire sale" may be just in a particular Walmart, but not the others. If your local Walmart have one, great. But if not, it has nothing to do with the ones who do.

We remember when they were selling Transformers Energon Omega Supreme for $10 at Walmart. We got 4 carts and got so many of them. We made so many children in our family happy that Christmas.
